The Gold Coast is set to sparkle with Pride again! Mark your calendars for an exciting and inclusive Gold Coast Pride Festival running from May 31 to June 2, 2024. This year promises an even larger and more vibrant celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

Opening Night (May 31, 2024)

Kick off the festival with an exhilarating opening night featuring intimate discussions, thought-provoking talks, and live performances from local LGBTIQAP+ acts. This free event sets the stage for a weekend of celebration and reflection, accompanied by a variety of refreshing drinks and engaging forums.

Fair Day + Parade (June 1, 2024)

• Market Stalls: Explore a diverse range of market stalls offering everything from unique artisan products to everyday services. Whether you're searching for a special keepsake or indulging in some retail therapy, there's something to capture everyone's interest.

• Beach Parade: Experience the stunning beach parade at Narrow Neck, Surfers Paradise, starting at 11am after assembling at 10:30am. This unique parade, the only Pride parade on an Australian beach, features a colourful procession with Rainbow Skaters and Dykes on Bikes. Witness the community in a magnificent display of unity and joy along the shoreline.

• Street Parade: Running parallel to the beach parade, this vibrant street procession converges at a pedestrian crossing, leading into a unified march towards Macintosh Island Park. This is a celebration of creativity, colour, and community spirit.

• After Party: As dusk falls, the energy levels soar at the biggest after-party of the year. Dance the night away in a dynamic atmosphere, celebrating the rich tapestry of love and acceptance. This is a ticketed event, promising unforgettable moments.

Recovery Cruise (June 2, 2024)

Conclude the festival with the inaugural recovery cruise aboard the luxurious Lady cruise ship. This three-hour event offers a serene setting to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking coastal views of the Gold Coast, providing the perfect end to a vibrant weekend of festivities.
