After a record-breaking 2024 celebration, Fierté Montréal Festival is back for 2025, promising another unforgettable 10-day Pride celebration from July 31 to August 10! With more than 410,000 attendees in 2024, this is Canada’s largest Pride event, bringing together community, activism, and entertainment across three dynamic festival hubs:
Urban Hub – Esplanade Tranquille, SAT, Club Soda, ONF
Village Hub – The National, Ste-Catherine St East
Olympic Hub – Olympic Park’s Esplanade
Festival Highlights
- Community Days (August 8 & 9) – Meet over 135 2SLGBTQIA+ and allied organizations and celebrate diversity.
- Live Shows & Performances – Featuring major headliners (announced February 13 & March 13) and showcasing racialized, trans, and Two-Spirit artists.
- Pride Parade (August 10) – Join thousands of marchers celebrating queer rights, history, and resilience, followed by the legendary Mega T-Dance & Closing Show at Olympic Park’s Esplanade.
A Legacy of Pride & Resilience
In 2024, a record 17,000 people marched, despite challenges, in a powerful demonstration of unity and defiance against discrimination. Even in the face of torrential rain, Fierté Montréal adapted, ensuring an inclusive and successful event for all in attendance. The festival continues to highlight important issues, celebrate the achievements of the community, and honor activists, artists, and changemakers.
