Spanning three weeks, this historic event will showcase the city’s diverse culture, vibrant nightlife, and deep-rooted history of activism. From star-studded concerts to an international march on Washington, every moment will be packed with energy, community, and celebration.
A Grand Welcome with Shakira
Kicking things off on Saturday, May 31, Nationals Park will host a spectacular Welcome Ceremony + Concert, featuring remarks from key dignitaries and a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community’s impact worldwide. And for the main event? Shakira takes the stage, bringing her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to WorldPride DC 2025 for an unforgettable night of music, movement, and magic.
WorldPride Music Festival
For two nights, June 6 – 7, RFK Festival Grounds will transform into a three-stage music festival, featuring an all-star lineup across House, Pop, Drag, Circuit, and Techno. The crowd is bound to get loud with Jennifer Lopez and Troye Sivan as headliners. It's going to be a rush! alongside Kim Petras, Marina, a DJ set by RuPaul, and more!
The WorldPride Parade Takes Over DC
On Saturday, June 7, the Capital Pride Parade will become the WorldPride Parade, taking over Logan Circle, 14th Street, and Pennsylvania Avenue in a dazzling display of visibility and pride. With grand floats, community groups, and the iconic U.S. Capitol as a backdrop, this parade honors both the fight for equality and the evolution of LGBTQ+ neighborhoods in Washington, DC.
A Historic International March on Washington
The movement continues on Sunday, June 8, with the International March on Washington + Rally. Inspired by the historic marches of Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders, this powerful gathering will bring together LGBTQ+ activists from around the world to demand equality, justice, and freedom. The march will follow a historic route through the city, leading to a rally at the U.S. Capitol.
A Grand Finale on Pennsylvania Avenue
The celebration ends with a bang at the WorldPride Closing Ceremony + Concert on June 8. Featuring top-tier entertainment, a recap of the festival’s biggest moments, and an interactive art installation, the evening will also include the passing of the torch to the next WorldPride host city—a reminder that Pride is a movement that never stops.
WorldPride DC 2025 is set to be one of the biggest, boldest, and most unforgettable celebrations the city has ever seen. Get ready to dance, march, and celebrate in the heart of the nation's capital.
