    Cozumel has a long history pre-dating even the Mayans. Once a sacred island, it's now more geared towards tourism and leisure. Although you won't find any gay bars in Cozumel, its a gay-friendly destination located in a state where gay marriage is legal.

    Cozumel is a tropical island. Rainy season starts ate the end of summer. March-June are the most popular months to visit Cozumel. The Caribbean side of Mexico is great for beaches and Cozumel is no exception. Cozumel is really a party destination, but it is a great place to unwind.
