So much moaning on here! This place is wonderful! The staff are friendly, happy to chat and always look after you and your things. The pool is perfect; nice and cool in the heat of PP. The spa is a nice place to warm up before jumping back in the pool (depending on the time of day you can either enjoy the water by yourself with few other visitors, or in the evenings you will be very happy with company ;). Jump in the spa and please follow the instructions (i.e. nude only). (i) it feels really nice and the bubbles keep everything jolly, (ii) it generates a nice tension with the other guys and you can play with yourself and others, (iii) makes things warm up and hang beautifully... enjoy yourself! Don't be shy. Make it what you want it to be. Feel like hooking up, go for it! I'm yet to be approached or to have met a 'money boy'. Want to sun bake naked by the pool? No-one stopping you but you. This place has helped me get comfortable with my nude (i am not perfect by any description) and i've even prompted everyone else to drop their trunks and enjoy the freedom. Enjoy yourself, don't judge others and try something new. This place is a man's heaven. Hint though, it's not that busy during the day (which i LOVE, and often enjoy the pool to myself for some time), so if you're looking for a 'good time', go in the evenings. Plus it's cheaper to enter after 8pm.

    A beautiful spa wasted !!

I admit it’s a.nice property - a great swimming pool, clean facilities and overall a well kept property. However most gay men visit gay spa to hook up with other gay men and this is where this gets disappointing. I went on a Sunday evening hoping the spa would be reasonably crowded with the guests from the hotel and the local gay crowd only to be disappointed. The spa was barely crowded and there were a few local boys but nothing too great. The few who did look good were money boys. Most Cambodians can not communicate in anything other than Khmer but besides that they also don’t show a great appetite for sex. They are so damn shy that they prance around in innerwear. It gets boring after a point to see shy men in their underwear in the steam, Jaccuzi and everywhere else. While the signs say no clothing it’s rarely enforced. It’s such a big disappointment from the neighbouring BKK. At Babylon they do not allow underwears at the cruising corners. Was expecting some expats and the hotel guests but alas no one was visible. The entry is $6 on a crowded day it’s worth but to go to an empty spa, I would probably prefer a massage.

Go to the other saunas, this is just a hotel, really

Not a bathouse, just a hotel with no room for play. Dissapointing.

    Pleasant Oasis

Great oasis with pool where you can go naked - rare in Asia. Pleasant bar and restaurant. Small sauna but good showers. But why no mosquito candles around the pool? Bitten alive by mosquitoes. There is one in the toilet. LOL

    Come for the architecture

The pool, jacuzzi and architecture of this place are beautiful and worth seeing. The sauna side of things were indeed small with only three private rooms, but most of the action seemed to take place in the steam room. Came here 8-10pm Thursday 1 May 2018. With a maximum of about 20 guys around 9 pm. All Asians, most in their 20-30s but not gym fit.

    Small

Small is an understatement. Tiny, and uncomfortable. The pool and restaurant are nice.

    Could be much better!

I was there yesterday (Oct 18 '17) and it's a small place, even in the sauna doesn't fit more than 7 people otherwise you can't walk, a lot of shy Asians, the water of the Jacuzzi was too hot, nobody tolerated more that 3 minutes and my biggest complain is about the rule "no underwear in the sauna, pool and Jacuzzi" and everybody was wearing underwear. They need to be more strict on this.

    Insect bite

The first time there it's so nice decorations but when I was swimming there, the insects bite me and I got swollen. I asked staff for any medicine but they doesn't have any. So bad. And the water not so clean.

    Relaxing

Needless to say A&P by far the only sauna in Pp that can really gives me the space to unwind freely be it at the pool or at the jacuzzi. It helps especially after a hard day work. Getting yourself nude is good to let our body recover with maximum cooling down with ease at zero blockage. Swim under the moonlight add more relaxing feel n very refreshing .. a must try. Nothing to be shy about.

    Ausguy

Fantastic massage by excellent cute guy named Vantu. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, clean good room and shower (even there the masseur was helpful!). Didn't want or need to try the cruising part but can imagine it may be a bit small, but as to a spa - what's to dislike?!

    So so

This place is super if want to relax by the pool with a drink in your hand. As a cruising sauna it's useless, as it's too small and hardly any room for anything. The locker room is also cramped. On my last visit a few days ago there was a small child (girl) playing in the pool, which I found quite uncomfortable. The other (dirty) saunas in Phnom Penh are more fun.

    Nice architecture, so-so massage

Masseurs are not handsome and you can't choose unlike in other places like Hatha Khmer or Ganesh. The masseur asks for expensive tip but cannot deliver the goods. For hanging out and cruising the place the place is fantastic. For massage there are better places.

    No return again

Sauna not accept customers after 10pm. The normal massage techniques, staff brought the phone into the room and regular use. Prices are quite expensive but poor service.

    Wonderful place

I visited Arthur & Pauls spa twice during my visit to PNP this past week. I got the 90 minute, 4-hand massage both times. I must say the guys there are incredible. Gerard and Noah at the front desk were so accommodating and responsive, the cute bartender (I did not get his name) was very warm and welcoming. But he stars of the show were my hot masseurs: Maurice and Lenine. They have a technique that sent me to the moon and back. I asked for them the second time since I was so impressed the first time. I have had massages in many other places, including back home in the Washington DC area, but these guys were about the best I've ever had. I will return.

    A peace harbour

Been there for the first time (and not the last) no later than yesterday evening. The venue is CHIC and welcoming, the place is clean and fresh. We had dinner there, the food is good compromise between local and European with reasonable price. You can feel the French touch in the decor. The rooms are spacious and trendy, the bedding a MUST to try. Just loved the experience, I felt cosy and pampered. The owner is very talkative and pleasant. A&P is the "Haute Couture Hotel" of Phnom Penh for Gay. Thank you for the lovely stay, looking forward for next week already. Eric

    Great Combination

I went to A&P on a Saturday around 5pm. There weren't many people there yet. It's a combination pool, bar, sauna, spa, and dark room. The bar is very open and the owner is very friendly (though the margarita I ordered was pretty bad). The pool area is nice, but I didn't see anyone swimming naked. Coming from Korea where all guys are naked, I was hoping to be able to swim nude. The only real action took place in the steam room, but even there guys were quite hesitant. It's not really a typical sauna, but more of a gay hotel - which is fine, but just don't expect a place with loads of dark rooms and action. If you want a causal place to relax, enjoy a drink while wearing only a towel, and place to cool off from the heat, A&P is your place.

    Nudism in S.E. Asia

I am not gay, but I am an ardent nudist and nude model, and nudism is banned in S.E. Asia. Before I visited A & P I asked if nude sunbathing was permitted at the pool. They said yes, but it would help if they advertised this, as there may be many foreigners who are nudists. It's great that nudism is obligatory in the steam room and jacuzzi, and the nudist showers are great.

    Frustrating

We paid for 90-minute aroma massage. But our masseurs ended 20 minutes earlier. When we insisted for the full time, they became grumpy. We complained at the reception. No apologies were given. Also, we had dinner there, too, just before the massage. We had to wait for our food for about 45 minutes. What a waste of money. Never again. The ambiance didn't help.

    Mixed bag

I had two different experiences with massage. First was very positive. Masseur, Guru, was very skilled especially considering other experiences in Cambodia. I went back for second two days later, asked for same masseur and 90 minutes. He didn't even acknowledge that I was there two days before and had tipped very, very generously. He gave me 60 minutes even though I paid for 90 minutes. He said it was over when it was over, he didn't have a clock and the front desk would refund the difference. Well of course they didn't because, he said, he already made out the ticket. I was a bit displeased. Then they tried to be nice as if they hadn't just ripped me off. Cheap, cheesy tactics. Sadly, this is still probably the best option.

    Disappointed

This is not a cruising sauna. Just 20 lockers for outsiders. Was there around 6. Other sauna is busy, here just three guys. Only steam room no dry sauna. Jacuzzi. And few relaxation rooms. It much more a massage place and a place for hotel guest to take fast a steam or jacuzzi. Sure not worth spending 5$ for this.

    A truly great place

I can only concur with the other positive comments made about this sensual oasis. The surrounds are of very high quality and massages are exceptional; stimulating, stirring and relaxing - all gently caressed into one refreshing experience. I will certainly keep going back to enjoy the great services on offer!!!

A Must Visit Hotel and Spa

I decided to take a weekend break from Ho Chi Minh City to visit Phnom Penh and stay at A&P. What a great place! From the helpful and welcoming French owners, to the attractive and attentive staff, a delightful time. Seriously the staff makes the place with their always smiling attitude and willingness to provide real 5 star service. The spaces are modern and clean, with stylish touches that contribute to the energy and chill of the the place. My room was large and as comfortable as any 4 / 5 star hotel I've stayed in, but with a boutique edge. The locals visit the spa in the evening and that allows for pleasant meetings and connections. I am looking forward to my next weekend getaway in Phnom Penh at A&P.

The best place I have seen in Phnom Penh

I have nothing to say against A&P, good service, perfectly clean, friendly and cute staff. I had a great time and I highly recommend this place.
