Went there on Thursday. Mixed crowd, nice people. But the darkroom area is poorly designed and very small. Made me laugh, tbh. And the weird system with cards they hand you at the entrance, on which the barman writes your order and you have to carry it with you, because there is a fine for loosing it. My god, just charge for one drink at the entrance

Last weekend on Valentine day there was an international bear weekend, so the bar was crowded by a lot of bears from all European countries. The bar was full, that was fun! The staff was okay, specially the shortest bartender. He was always smiling and helped a lot for all the customers. But unfortunatelly he didn't undress on that night, but usually he works without shirt after midnight. Hot and handsome!

Went here last night (Feb 2021). Reasonably priced drink with no entrance charge. Lots of fun cruising after a few beers. Action happening everywhere. Preferred this place than the sauna but each to their own. Might go back tonight!!

Absolutely boorish owner (or hostess) in ten enter. Shout on any reason. We are entering in club and come away after 5 minutes, because public and room was awful and dirty. When we pick up our dress, owner (or hostess)- dry white head old gay - start a shout that we a using his club like a public toilet and don’t buy alcohol in the bar!!!! After 5 minutes!!!!!

I was also unsure from reading bad reviews but I visited here on 24rd October 2019 and the doorman explained everything well that you get a drinks card and pay at the end at the bar and it is then stamped paid which you show to the doorman. The barman was friendly and the I had fun as well in the cruise area

After reading the reviews was very apprehensive about going there. Having the experience of age and the privilege to travel widely, I have had the fortune and misfortune to see so really bad places and believe me guys this is not one of them.. Security extremely friendly and went out of their way to explain how things worked. Bar staff very professional and welcoming. Clientele - Real men looking for men. End of. If you are into having your lips botoxed and like to carry a little bag with a dog in, you will be bitterly disappointed. However, if you like men being men, enjoying other men you will love it. Enter, drop any attitude you may have and enjoy. Well done COXX keep up the good work.

I was at the Coxx bar on Friday night with my friend. There were a lot of guys. But you can’t pay by card, only in cash (HUF), so I had to withdraw cash. There is a rather bad exchange rate and high commissions in the nearest ATMs. To withdraw 6000 HUF you have to pay 1200 HUF commissions. In general, we had a good time with the Hungarian guys, but the bar staff was rather rude. My friend and I drank 6 bottles of beer (950 HUF * 6 = 5700 HUF), but when we were about to leave, the bartender wanted to deceive us and said to pay 7700 HUF! Guys, please, count your money carefully and check bartenders! I would not recommend this place. Yesterday we visited Magnum Sauna and I can say that it is much better. It is cleaner, the staff is polite and beer costs 490 HUF :)

I have been reading ALL the negative comments about Coxx cruise Club. Let say Like that, it is in the centre off the CITY, very noticeable from the street. Staff on the entrance is not rude, they are just doing their job. They give you a ticket with 300HUF written on it, that ticket you bring with yourself to the bar when you order drink, minimum consummation is 1000HUF.. so 1300HUF is the minimum you will pay. Mostly the beer is 900HUF so you will drink minimum two of it.You need to read warning for the lost ticket. On the ticket They will write all your consumation. DON'T lose it Because you'll pay 10000 HUF. There are Many guys there, all kinds of them. Not Many place to be private with someone. On Friday evening there was aprox. 50 guys

Believe all the other reviews that sound like this one. I didn't. I went on a Saturday night. The front door guy and the bartenders were all rude and curt. They charge you for everything and with inflated prices. The crowd was mediocre at best and a lot of nothing going on. The bathroom had a sink with a dirty towel hanging to dry your hands. Go to the Magnum Sauna instead. They have clean towels and beer.

Right. If you are looking for a cruise bar, this is just what it should be. Problem is, too many queens are coming to this place and behave like Lady Gaga, but this is no place for them. U come and u have fun, end of. But they also have a good bar, smoking area, areas to sit and chill, it's open till late every single day, no matter what. U will always find some good looking guys there, and Hungarians are hot hot hot. Better on Wednesday or weekend (Sat Sun busier). But good every day really.

I come in. Door man in smoking and comes in after me. He just stares while i take my coat of and hang it up. Then he says i have to give it to him, i ask why and he says i must pay for it and put it to other hanger. Then he gives me piece of paper and write 300huf fee even tho website says entry is free. I go down to get some drink. Bartender is talking to some dudes and ignore me for 5minutes until that door man comes down and finally i get to order something. Seats are metal and very uncomfortable and dirty. I leave after my first beer and never come back.

The club is fine, the staff is fine and the crowd is sexy but mostly boring, prefer to chat, drink and smoke in the upper tiny "cabin", some action happening in the small dark room, but mostly old or ugly guys. The club itself is fine, the "party" aspect is overrated even though it suppose to be a fetish club, as there are slings and all. It seemed to be more of a cocktail bar. As for the negative reviews, probably some annoying divas have no better thing to do.. ignore them.

Went there yesterday and the doorman was watching tv on his mobile phone. Not welcoming at all.

Went there about 11pm as a tourist through its open because door open - didn't realise that 2 staffs sitting there and they told me off that they are not open yet. You can said nicely if u want, with that cheap attitude is priceless. I don't recommend it, we don't want prejudice - enough of that.

It came to us as no surprise to find an aggressive, rude and unfriendly environment here as our experience of our entire stay in Hungary was no different.

I don't understand all the negative comments here. The barman was friendly and polite and nobody waited more than a few seconds to get served. I visited at midnight on Thursday and the place was fairly busy - about thirty guys there.

At the entrance you are given a card. The explanation is very strict, not a form of politeness. When you go downstairs you enter the spacious and atmospheric bar area. At our arrival, there was no one behind the bar and we had to wait 5 min. before we could order a drink. Later someone seemed to have lost his drinking card, but no empathy or assistance of any kind was given. Big fuss was made and the barman was very angry with the poor visitor who had lost his card. Meanwhile, some new guest were being served while other guests were ignored and waited for over 15 min to get attention. We were some of those guests. Only after complaining to other people we got very aggressive attention and were yelled at. This got out of hand very quickly. This barman should find other work where he doesn’t have to work with people, he is totally unsuitable for any kind of human contact!!!! An absolute NO GO place! Btw: there were some other nice and handsome visitors, they are the only reason one should go there but prepared for the fury of the employees!

My partner and I recently frequented Coxx Club for 4 out of our 5-night stay. We were worried about going after reading some of the reviews on here. Needless to say we encountered NO hostility from any staff. The doorman was really friendly explained the 1000 HUF minimum spend and sent us merrily on our way. The bar staff were friendly. No drinks slammed down in their service. The 1000 HUF minimalist m spend is not a problem with a beer costing 950 and the vodka mixer 1950. Drinks are pricey but they have the market for this venue cornered. A great place. We both enjoyed.

This place could be a lot better. Great bar but the darker end of the bar isn’t used and could be better if it was darker and screened off from the bar. Went to naked night on Sunday night. Guys, if you advertise naked please make sure that it is naked, not with underwear optional. Minuses. No lube or condom dispensers. Was given a sachet of lube and a condom when entered, but that’s it. The got used very quickly. Hey, it was naked night and busy, so had to go and ask for more which was reluctantly handed over. Note to owners. Go and have a look at similar cruise clubs in other parts of Europe and bring back some ideas to this place. Final note. Just an average place. Oh, and the bar tender on Monday night? He needs some training on customer service. He was more interested in what was on his phone rather than the customer.

from the guy at the door to the miserable bar staff this place is a nightmare of rudeness, resentment and confrontation.. at the door you are barked at "you have money?" then when you are required toactually produce your open wallet for him to inspect that your are telling the truth yes I have money.Not enough that you are offended as you enter the actual barstaff look at you like you've walked into their livingroom unannounced.When you eventually get one of them to reluctantly serve you, they slam the drink down like theyre serving a prisoner in a jail..The conversation with other customers inevitably involves exchanging stories of how rude theyd been treated. some wre even asking others to go to the bar for them as they didn't like to ask for a drink..Was like the scene in OLIVER "please sir can I have some more?" " MMMOORRE????" They seemed to revel in their rudeness and no it wasn't remotely amusing but intimidating.They seriously did think the customers were inferior and beyond contempt..Please don't give this place your custom and let it die a death

Aggressive, dismissive, rude staff, filthy place and bad attitude from the doorman to bar staff. Avoid unless you enjoy being offended.

Dirty, miserable, with old, fat and trolls...avoid it!

Went on a Monday night - pretty quiet but things picked up a little around midnight, but the dark areas were busy and there was plenty of action going on. You have to spend 1000 huf on your drinks ticket, but given that a gin and tonic is 1900 this is easily achieved.

Went in the middle of the week, 6 people all together and the bartender had such an attitude that should change his job if he is so unhappy there.

Spent two nights here on my resent trip and had a great time on both occasions.

An interesting cruisy place with a large darkroom, maze, and other 'furniture'. Coat check and a minimum consuption of 1000 huf I think. Was not too crowded on a thursday night, but very active in the dark areas of the club.
