Greetings beautiful humans! 

Right now, more than ever, it's important to find things to celebrate and guess what... BOiBOX is SEVEN!  AND there's more... we're back in the building at our beloved home, The Glory with not one but two seated (socially distanced) superstar supershows! It's time to celebrate our seventh birthday because we are in our PRIME! 

A Drag King dream that started on a shoe string in a Soho basement is now SEVEN, having spawned a sea of sensational Kings, showcasing 129 Drag Kings and producing 105 dedicated BOiBOX Drag King shows and counting... We've kicked down several doors, survived misogyny, regeneration, changes in venues, a pandemic... and we are still here and still Queer! Who ever said that Drag Kings can't, look at them DO! And we keep doing thanks to the incredible performers we work with and our amazing audiences...YOU!

So get with the Drag King Revolution and celebrate this milestone with us as we put on two super-shows to celebrate because it's the big one! It's our birthday!

RUBYYY JONES! - Burlesque Hall of Fame Winner! Critically acclaimed and adored ‘big, fat, fabulous, queer Canadian’! A pioneer of the Queerlesque genre and marvellous mentor to many, Rubyyy is creator, curator and creature of the night!

RICHARD ENERGY! - Innovative, political and funny...at the same time! Rising star and winner of Disney Snatchgame 2021!

SIGI MOONLIGHT! - Boylesque and drag king sensation and part of the incredible Pan Asian Cabaret Collective, The Bitten Peach, Sigi Moonlight tantalises and terrifies audiences with his satirical twist of pop culture and politics. Also banned in Canada...

 

Social Distancing:

Due to social distancing measure we have TWO shows, one at 7pm and one at 9pm. Tickets are sold on a table basis for your bubbles for the safety of our audiences, performers and crew. The Glory is carefully adering to the govenment guidelines. Seats are strictly limited and all orders are by table service.

Accessibility:

The show will happen in the basement of The Glory which is not wheelchair accessible. Due to social distancing restrictions we are unable to provide access support safely at The Glory, we are learning as we go and trying to work out how we can make this possible. If you would like to bring an access support person from your bubble, please email us at boiboxinfo@gmail.com We are also recording the event and will produce an online version of the show from the footage with optional subtitles and audio description so that those who cannot enjoy the show with us in the venue can enjoy the show safely at home.
