About Isle of Wight Pride
First held in 2017, the Isle of Wight Pride began from a dream to create a space where everyone on the island could celebrate love and individuality. The first event was a smash hit, and Isle of Wight Pride has become a summer staple, even hosting UK Pride in 2018! Get ready to join this friendly festival and be part of their ongoing story of love and community.
Isle of Wight Pride Parade
The Isle of Wight Pride Parade kicks off on July 20th at 11am! March alongside the community from Ryde School down Union Street, ending at the vibrant Pride Community Village. Sign up on their official website to participate! After the parade, head to Harbour Beach for Pride Entertainment. Big names like Kimberly Wyatt and Ginger Johnson will headline, along with local performers. Free and VIP tickets are available, but hurry, they won't last long!
What to Expect at Isle of Wight Pride
Isle of Wight Pride wraps up on July 21st with a special afternoon event at Harbour Beach. From noon to 6:30 pm, there will be a live music extravaganza featuring a 30-piece orchestra, a live band and tribute performances by Andrew Browning as George Michael and Dave Jerome as Freddie Mercury. It's a great way to celebrate Pride with music and community.
