STAY AWAY IT'S A BAD HOTEL
I've stayed there for past 5 years. Recently it was sold. New owner doesn't care about it like the previous owners. They don't keep your reservation as promised when you advance pay it. Reception staff doesn't care either about any discomfort you may have. Definitely not worth 3 stars. Book next door the Eden Hotel prices are cheaper & you feel like you are in a 4 star hotel. It really is a vetter choice, it has concierge, bar by the entrance, friendly, perfect for gays guests and no comparison. Sorry Amstelzicht was sold. I miss the previous owner and his attention to detail. This place is a dive . Please trust me, I go to Amsterdam every 3 months, or ,for identical comfort choose also next door Hotel Monopole. I stayed there and they're what they advertise.
