Opened March 2012, the hotel is situated on the western side of the CBD. Quest on Hobson is only a 2-minute walk away from a multitude of business buildings, the queen street shopping area, numerous restaurants, lively bars and the Civic theatre, opposite Auckland's Sky City. This 44-room complex hosts a range of studio, one bedroom, and interconnecting two-bedroom apartments, each equipped with modern furnishings, kitchen and washer/dryer. Quest on Hobson reception hours are 7am - 9pm Mon-Fri and 8am - 6pm Weekends. Guest can check in after these times using the intercom at the entrance.
