off Jalan Petitenget, Bali, Indonesia
Located on the south of Bali, between Canggu and Berewa, close to Seminyak. Batu Belig Beach was home to a small gay-popular café that had most of its infrastructure stripped down by the local authorities.
Nowadays, the tables, chairs, sun loungers remain, and food & drinks are still served here. The gay-popular beach area is close to the W Bali hotel and about 20 metres from the Grand Balisani Suites resort.
The easiest way to get here is via Jalan Batu Belig.

Gay Cruising Berawa Beach
There is a new gay cruising area now at Berawa Beach. If you arrive on the beach road turn right and walk towards Echo Beach (away from Seminyak). After around 200 meters you can see a few small beach bars with sun chairs. Directly behind them in the bushes on a stretch of about 200 meters there is a lot of cruising going on every day from around 16.00 until 19.00 after sunset. Locals and Western guys

Almost Deserted
Granted, I visited on a weekday in January (ie low season), but even with that in mind the gay scenery here was almost non-existent. I walked by the beach at around 3.30pm and then again at 6pm. Both time there were three or four older/larger white men, a small handful of Indonesian younger guys (no more than six or seven), plus maybe a few women. The location itself was sandwich between trash piles/construction sites, not exactly a relaxing beach scene. There are more hot young guys (abeit mostly straight) to look at at the Potato Head Club just a few minutes south.
