CDL - CLOSED

Absolut unfreundliche Besitzer. Bin auf meinen Reisen nach Berlin letztmals im April 2018 dort gewesen . Der Keller war geschlossen, dies wurde aber beim Eingang mit keinem Wort erwähnt. Der Preis war trotzdem der Gleiche. Nach meiner Bemerkung, das dies nicht in Ordnung sei, würde man nur pampig angemacht , es wäre trotzdem alles wie früher. Es würde mir ja freistehen, zu gehen, was ich auch tat. Nachdem ich gehört habe, das der Laden nun geschlossen sei kannn ich nur sagen: recht so!!! Jeder bekommt seine gerechte Strafe.

Once it was our favorite place. Since they closed the cellar, the place has become too small and lacks the uniqueness of the cellar.

Was there today, almost nobody there, far to expensive, better take the money and go to Boiler, there you get something for your Euro! Staff seems to be frustrated... no wonder!

Went here tonight. I don't know why people say the bouncer and staff are unfriendly. They're just Central European, making they way more, let's say, direct as people from different cultures. They provide good information, and they mind what you're doing. The service was really good, but I sort of agree the price is little off. The place is really clean, but it's a little small and its a top heaven. The public is mostly late-30s and up. Overall, I think I'll try this place again, but a different time. I don't know if it was a snowy day or rainy day, but today it had just a few people. But don't have high expectations on the number of people in here. Still, it's a good place for giving a try.

The days of CDL are over. This place has gone downhill its a shame its location is prime right in Schoneberg the gay neighbourhood. The place has become much much smaller as they closed off the basement permanently. Half of the toilets were closed off as well. This place is over-priced compared to other venues in the city. By far the most expensive cruise club in Berlin and its simply not worth it anymore!

This place is completely a big turn off, the worst service ever in my Berlin experience, never ever have seen a door man so rude arrogant. Place is not worth visiting at all.

Went there 3 nights during a 10-day trip and each time it was amazing. I didn't have any problem with the guy at the door (he was actually really friendly) and also the team at the bar and the crowd were absolutely great. Heading to Berlin again soon and will go there for sure.

I didn't have a negative experience with the bar staff or the doorman (he was actually friendly). There were probably 15 guys on a Friday night-- it was fun but I agree with the previous posters that the club was more fun when the basement was open.

I agree with Jay. Since the cellar is closed there is no space for real action. Rude and unfriendly service.

This used to be a great place (see my review of last year). But since they closed the cellar this summer, everybody has to move around in very limited space on the ground floor. No real atmosphere and not much action anymore.

Only admit between 9pm-11pm....kind of essential information..

The besy gay club in Berlin, very friendly owhere and hospitable employees. Very cleanly maintained and with above quality customers. It's not the quantities, it's the qualities. We were there for 5 nights in mid July, had had good times every night.

CDL really is a joke. Visited recently band the place was empty, about 15 guys in total just wondering round and no action to be had. We were charged 18 euro for two beers.

I have never had such a bad experience in any establishment of any kind anywhere in the world.

In my opinion the best gay club in Berlin: on Saturday evenings it's usually packed, with everyone walking round naked. There's usually a lot of action - very hot! Good that it's not just a place for the young; instead, pretty much all ages and sizes. Very clean place too and nice hosts.

The entry fee includes drinks and a very nice place to spend a great time with a lot of sexy boys, I loved it.

We have been on a Saturday night with a few people. At the site said that this issue was no entrance fee and we had to spend on drink for 16 euros. The club was totally not what we thought. We decided to go off on time and found that we had misunderstood and that there entrance fee had to be paid, so we lost a lot more. We checked afterwards and saw that there was NO entry fee, so we are cheated.

I wasn't even allowed in since I simply asked how many guys were inside - at 10pm on a Friday night. I had a sense it was empty. I was happy to come back later. The guy at the door rejected me really aggressively. Not a great welcome to Berlin.

I have been there on a Wednesday night for a naked party, probably the least frequented day as the price is reduced (10 € + 1 € of wardrobe... that you are actually forced to take, so it does not really make sense). The bartender was very rude, speaking with a strong German accent that made his accent incomprehensible and nevertheless getting angry if you do not understand everything immediately. Please note that when I got in in the club there were 6 persons.
