    Going Downhill but Nice Pool

Surprised nobody else had left a review on this long time bathhouse. So I will be the first. I'll start with the positives. There is a spacious, beautiful outdoor area with a large swimming pool, lounge chairs, and even another more secluded section behind shrubbery with more chairs. There is a good size wooden sauna that could fit about two dozen people indoors. In addition to the usual small gym, lockers, and tiny individual rooms that may be rented, Club Aqua has an outdoor play area with two mostly dark rooms, some booths with glory holes, and some semi dark semi private areas. There is also a very small open video lounge, with a dark section in the back, inside. Smoking is permitted outdoors only, per state laws. Time limit for all lockers and rooms is 6 hours and the club is open 24/7, with its own parking lot for about two dozen cars. Now for the negatives. The whirlpool/jacuzzi was removed a year ago and tiled over permanently. The steam room has been broken for months, as have several showers. Very few people ever seem to be there, and those that are can be sketchy (I saw someone trying to peer inside my locked room, probably to try to burglarize it, while I was walking down a corridor). If you are in the area, go ahead and give it a try but it isn't worth a trip if you aren't already planning to be in Miami. Just don't expect too much.
