Busy, clean and easy to get to!

So, I finally made it to the (only) gay sauna in Venice near the main train station, and boy was it a happening place! From the minute they opened their doors, it was like a whirlwind of people coming in from all over Europe, and even some local Venetians joining in on the fun. The location was excellent! Especially Being right near some of the largest budget hotels and hostels in the area. Being so close to the train station, it's no wonder this sauna attracts such a diverse crowd. And let me tell you, the energy in there was an attitude free zone! The staff were awesome too. They were super friendly (gorgeous Italian men) and managed the whole place like pros. Despite the crowds, they made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. They were always there, ready to answer any questions and give you the lowdown on the place. And let's not forget about the cleanliness. I was surprised by how well-maintained everything was. You know, sometimes you worry about places being overcrowded and messy, but that wasn't the case here. The staff did a great job of keeping the place spick and span. One thing that really stood out to me about this sauna was the options for pricing. You can either go all out (around €22 inc towel and slippers) and enjoy everything the spa area has to offer (shower, steam, sauna, jacuzzi) or you can opt for a reduced price (only €8) and just hang out in the non-spa areas, including the bar. I thought that was a smart move, because it caters to different budgets and preferences. Italian government supports gay establishments so they have to uphold to a certain criteria to be operating - you will need to purchase a membership (tourists €10) which you can buy online or at the venue. This is separate to entrance fees and membership can be used all over Italy at participating venues. Worth every euro. It's a shame other places like London or New York do not have these high standards.

    nice

I was there three times in July 2018. I was really surprised but there was not a lot of people there during vacations season. I know it's hot in Italy in the summer but really I thought gay that go to Italy on Vacation would turn this place into a nice party. I met one Italian cook guy in the jacuzzi that I spent really nice time with. During my third visit, I also had a little encounter with an older muscled guy. The sauna itself is ok. A little bit smelly but not very bad. Small steam room and also almost always empty dry sauna that is visited only when someone is followed by someone going in. Further down the corridor there are steps to lower part of the facility with relaxing cabins, maze, x-cinema. I only went there once to check it out but the crowd there was 50+ around 5 ppl that were very pushy. Jacuzzi was amazing. Big enough and warm enough. The price was a little bit too high for me for what I got. Yes the place is big but needs a little work on it. it is also far from Venice itself so it takes a lot of time to get there from the bus. Also make sure that you won't miss the last bus to town like I did and i had to walk to the bridge for my next connection.

    Good and clean

I never miss it every time I go to Venice I stop there. The sauna is nice and clean and the atmosphere is vibrant. It's a bit pricey and as a tourist it's a bit annoying to have to pay for the membership. Nevertheless it's affordable for anyone and the value for money is guaranteed!
