Scissor Sisters 2025 UK tour: tickets, setlist and more
The Scissor Sisters are back!
The Scissor Sisters’ logo has been blasted on arenas across the UK, from the OVO in Glasgow to the O2 in London. It’s official: they will be setting out on an arena tour in 2025.
After a 12-year absence, your favorite noughties band will be back on stage to capitalise on the nostalgia you’ll be feeling. We're living in an era of reunion tours. Many emerging artists are struggling to sell out venues, whereas artists from the past can appeal to the goodwill and disposable income of their older fans to fill arenas.
How to get tickets for the Scissor Sisters’ tour
Tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but buying tickets for this show should be less stressful than getting Oasis or Taylor Swift tickets. The tickets are likely to be sold through Livenation.
The UK was always their biggest market so it makes sense that their tour would be centred around the UK. This will be an arena show.
What will the setlist include?
As they’re doing a nostalgia tour in arenas, you can guarantee they’ll be playing all their old hits, from Take Your Mama to Let’s Have a Kiki.
The dates for the tour have been confirmed
Will Jake Shears be shirtless?
It’s highly likely. He may even be contractually obliged to show his pecs while performing. It’s part of the act.
What happened to the Scissor Sisters?
They broke up after a successful run of four albums. Jake Shears went on to release solo material and appear in West End Shows. The popularity of the band never waned and their music has aged well, so a reunion tour was all but inevitable.
