Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade 2025

The 2025 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival will run from February 14 to March 2. It has adopted the theme “FREE TO BE” for 2025. This year’s festival includes over 80 events. Past headliners have included Kylie and Cher, so expect a sizzling lineup.

Key events include the Mardi Gras Parade with a new block party at Taylor Square, the Sissy Ball, and the Kaftana Pool Party. Fair Day returns with additions like Trans Camp and the Karaoke Cave, while the Mardi Gras Party will feature Grammy-winner Honey Dijon and UK artist Romy. New for 2025, the Blak & Deadly Gala Concert and Mardi Gras + Qtopia showcase queer culture and history. Additional highlights include First Nations First Light at Bondi Beach, “They Will Be Kings,” and Samuel Barnett’s acclaimed show at the Sydney Opera House.

Mardi Gras 2025 also includes Solid Pink Disco hosted by Trixie Mattel and family-friendly events like Disco on the Green. The inaugural Pride in Sport Festival promotes LGBTQIA+ inclusivity in sports. You can buy tickets from November.
