The MP, Aunty Mandy and Me
The MP, Aunty Mandy and Me
Ireland Institute, Dublin, Ireland
The MP, Aunty Mandy & Me and is a part of the annual International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival and will play at the Ireland Institute in Dublin from 1st-6th May at 7:30pm with matinees at 2:30pm on Monday 1st and Saturday 6th May.
The show is a bittersweet tale and dark comedy about coercive control and consent within the LGBTQ+ community. The company is working in co-production with We Are Survivors, a survivor led charity for male survivors of sexual abuse. The show engages with a very important societal conversation. Despite the serious nature, there are also plenty of laughs in the play, with some spectacular sound and visual design, making for an all round entertaining and thought-provoking night at the theatre.
