      Metro station nearby. Excellent value.

      Hotel Description

The consistently gay-popular APA Shinjuku-Gyoemmae is located just a couple of minutes' walk from the Ni-chome gay nightlife. The popular 24 Kaikan Shinjuku sauna is even closer.

Modern guest rooms have flat screen TV, free WiFi, fridge, electric kettle. We like their large spa & jacuzzi (separate areas for men and women). Vending machines and laundry rooms are available, and reception is open 24 hours.

The hotel also has its own restaurant, although plenty of dining options are nearby. A very popular choice on Travel Gay Asia.

      Good location

Stayed here for one night and found this in a great location. Very close to the 24 sauna and near a metro station. Check-in is a self-check-in on a kiosk (somewhat like at the airport these days) with someone there to guide you along. Since I didn't book through an online travel portal, I needed assistance to check-in. If you book on APA website, it'd be much smoother. The room is small but reasonable in Japan standard. I have a full bed, and it has a fridge, a TV with free VOD, and the hotel has a public bath in the basement (separated by gender and only hotel guests has access with your room key). The public bath has couple hot pools (larger one inside and a smaller one outside) but no cold pool. It also has the shower areas. There's no towels there as you have to bring them from your room. There are also lockers to store your clothes. I read somewhere suggesting it could have action in the public bath, but I did not see any. No breakfast offered in this hotel. Overall, good value with clean room in an convenient location.
