Can't see why it's for gay clientele
Based on the recommendations here I booked and stayed for 5 nights. All was up to standard except it really is a hotel for families with lots of young children particularly in the pool level. Haven't seen another single or couple who were remotely gay oriented during my stay. Probably will stay here again for other reasons than it's being a gay friendly hotel. Perhaps it's Malaysian school holidays which should be avoided!
