    Charming decor. A notorious past.

    Hotel Description

The Graduate Providence (formerly Providence Biltmore) is an iconic Providence hotel situated downtown and close to the city's bustling gay scene. It also happens to be one of America's most notorious - allegedly! - haunted hotels. The Graduate was built, if you'll pardon the pun, by 1918 Johan Leisse Weisskopf in 1918. He was a notorious Satanist. Satanic rituals, a series of notorious crimes and alleged hauntings have made the Biltmore a notorious establishment.

It has decadent interiors and it plays on its spooky past. You don't need to a Stephen King fan to stay here - incidentally, this hotel did partially inspire The Shining. Just sayin'.

Supposing you'd prefer to stay in a hotel with a bit of character and history, then this is a good bet.
