Gay Group Trip:
Galápagos Expedition
About this Trip
Embark on an 11-day journey around the stunning Galápagos. You'll sail on the National Geographic Endeavour II, which promises an immersive and intimate escapade for just 96 guests. Discover the Galapagos' rich wildlife, active volcanoes, and expansive Marine Reserve, all in the company of like-minded travelers.
Your LGBT+ adventure starts in Quito, celebrated for its impeccably preserved historic center. Elevated at 9,350 feet, Quito's charm is rooted in its 16th-century origins, built atop an ancient Inca city. You'll then fly to Baltra Island, followed by a ferry ride to Santa Cruz Island. Here, delve into the islands' verdant highlands and encounter the legendary giant tortoises at the Charles Darwin Research Station.
Your voyage then sets course for the idyllic Santa Fe Island, where sandy white beaches and sea lion harems await. Continue to South Plaza Island, home to land iguanas and vibrant marine life. North Seymour Island offers a unique blend of bird colonies, sea lions, and marine iguanas, while Santa Cruz Island's white beaches provide perfect snorkeling opportunities. Bartolomé Island's volcanic landscapes and wildlife-rich waters are not to be missed.
Concluding the cruise, return to the mainland for a tranquil night in Guayaquil. This tropical city, nestled by the Guayas River, is Ecuador's commercial heart.
