Terms and Conditions for Travel Gay x Axel Hotels Competition

1. Prize:

• The prize is a 2 night-stay at Axel Hotel Barcelona or Axel TWO Barcelona in a basic double room with continental breakfast included, and upgrade subject to hotel availability.

• The prize is to be awarded to a single winner.

2. Competition Period:

• The competition opens at 12:00 AM (GMT) on 13th January 2025 and closes at 11:59 PM (GMT) on 31st March 2025.

• Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Eligibility:

• Participants must be 18 years or older.

• The competition is open to all, excluding employees of Travel Gay, Axel Hotels and their immediate families.

• Participants must have a valid Instagram account.

4. How to Enter:

• To enter, participants must:

• Be following both official Travel Gay (@travelgay) and Axel Hotels (@axelhotels) accounts on Instagram.

• Like the competition post and tag another user in the comments on the official Travel Gay Instagram account.

• Share the competition post to their story at least once.

5. Winner Selection and Announcement:

• The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries by Travel Gay.

• The winner will be announced at 12:00PM GMT on 14th April 2025 via Travel Gay’s Instagram account.

6. Winner Notification:

• The winner will be contacted via direct message on Instagram.

• If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Travel Gay reserves the right to select another winner.

 

7. General Conditions:

• The prize is valid from the date the winner is selected (20th April 2025) until 30th December 2025.

• The prize is accommodation only, 2 nights with breakfast at a Barcelona Axel property - subject to hotel availability.

• The prize does not include meals, airline tickets or any type of transportation, taxes, surcharges, or extra and additional expenses. It cannot be exchanged for cash or any other prize, nor can it be subject to change or alteration.

• Some nights during city events, fairs, festivals and holidays are excluded from this promotion. The winner is to liaise directly with Axel Hotels to confirm these nights. Other blackouts can also apply. Nights may be requested with a minimum of 30 days’ notice by email (marketing1@axelhotels.com).

• Travel Gay reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.

• By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

 

8. Privacy:

• Personal data collected for the purpose of this competition will only be used for administering the prize and in accordance with Travel Gay’s privacy policy.
