The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is located just steps away from the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal. Since the museum opened its doors in 2013 in a LEED Gold-certified modern building, it has become the go-to cultural spot on the island.
BIMA features cool rotating exhibitions showcasing famous regional artists alongside up-and-coming talents. Their permanent collection keeps expanding and draws visitors thanks to its focus on artworks from across the Puget Sound area. With around 15-20 new shows annually plus ongoing classes, talks and events, it's a buzzing community hub for art lovers, whether you live on the island or are just visiting.
