    Great Bar

Visited here a couple of times in October 2018, cute staff and customers and cheap drinks. A crazy view over the city and racecourse. We only went on weeknights and there was always a steady flow of customers. My boyfriend and I are British. We got great service and some free shots from the cute Barman!

    Most popular club with locals

I was told by a couple locals that Bing Bing was the bar/club to go to, and that was certainly my experience. The crowd was cute, young, and local. The space is pretty small, and I was told that most nights you have to wait outside if you don't arrive early, although the night I went was not that crowded (it was a holiday). The crowd was mostly standing around like in a bar, with only sporadic dancing. Drinks were cheap.

    Seems to be Asian only

I’ll go anywhere and have one drink just to check a place out. Here I did not even get the chance. The staff did not acknowledge me in any way. I sat at the bar and waited for any of the three people working to speak to me. After the bartender looked away for the third time I thought, “Well I’m not going to beg to spend money anywhere.” While I was thinking that another white guy came in and got the same treatment. It seems that if you are not Asian and in your 20s you are not welcome here.

    The IT spot right now

Bing Bing is certainly the gay hot spot at the moment in Hong Kong. On Friday/Saturday nights, 200+ people pack it so tight that you literally have to squeeze and push to walk through the bar. It is fairly busy even on weeknights. Unlike the gay bars in Central, the Bing Bing crowd skews much younger, mostly in 20s or early 30s, and vast majority locals instead of expats. While patrons tend to congregate in groups, there seems to be a fair bit of interactions among strangers. Its popularity with the cute young crowd can probably be attributed to the drink prices, which are significantly lower than bars in Central. The bar is relatively large for Hong Kong, though with cruiser tables scattered throughout the open area, there isn't really a dance floor. Its decor is quite chic, and its staff are super friendly/attitude-free. It is also on the 22nd floor of a fairly nice commercial building, there is a bit of a view on a clear night, that is if you can squeeze yourselves to the window...

    Great place in CWB

My friends and I were debating whether to go out or call it a night. Since we were all staying in cwb we decided there would be no harm in walking over to circo near times square. We went up and decided to stay for one drink. Yeah.... a few drinks later.... hehe.... classy looking bar. Good dance music. Nice view from 22nd floor. Good lighting system. It was a great night out.
