    Is it really gay??

I've been there a few times. During the day, it is a quiet, empty gay bar. When it's showtime, it's very crowded but unfortunately full of straight guys and girls (as well some homophobic!!). As soon as gays are no longer welcome, I will not go there again.. which it's sad because the show was good.

    Blue Chilli

I haven't seen the shows, but I've gone on several weeknights during low season. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed having drinks with the staff and other tourists. Very nice environment. Enjoyable outside area. Friendly attentive servers.

Go with a friend or forget it

Went on Friday night. Fairly crowded but quickly realized this was more of a small town, neighborhood style bar and not in a good way. Very unfriendly and cliquish. Patrons ranged from squealing western queens inside and quieter older group outside. As for locals, effeminate and not particularly attractive. After a friendly greeting I was basically ignored by the staff except for one bartender who smiled as he took my order. No place to sit and it seemed where ever I stood I was in some one's way. I didn"t wait for the show, just finished my drink and left. First time in Phnom Penh though have been to Siem Reap a number of times so I know about Cambodia. One bar to avoid if you go alone.

    Fun Bar

Arrived to the bar early on a Saturday night, so it wasn't very crowded, but still had fun with the great staff. They are all very friendly and attractive, and the two for one drinks is a great deal during happy hour. I was too early for the show, but given how attractive the staff was, I'm sure it's fun. The bar isn't very large, and the stage is small, so when crowded it must be a tight fit. I liked how open the bar was to the street.

    Blue Chilli Bar

Pleasant bar, easy to find, just ask tuk-tuk driver for Blue Chilli. Friendly and attractive barkeepers (one of the barkeepers performs in the Friday and Saturday show). Low prices. Pretty crowded at the weekends. Big chance that you will not return alone to your hotel, even on more quiet days.
