One of the best-known gay saunas in Hong Kong (since 1991). Central Escalator (CE) features a steam room, dry sauna, jacuzzi, a limited number of private cabins, free snacks.
The sauna attracts a mix of locals, international foreigners and tourists. It is located in Cheung Hing Commercial Building. Open every day from 1pm.
Enter on Gage Street - go through the doorway immediately to the left of 7Eleven, then take the elevator to the 2nd floor.

Wednesday 1:30–5:30pm
Sauna and steam room currently out of use, due to government restrictions.
Had some interest from 3 older guys, one v muscle type. Guests seem to be quite open, one hot silver fox guy came in to play in front of everyone in the tv room.
2 v hot / cute younger guys but no interest from them, they looked like they were just waiting to meet someone pre-arranged.
Apart from one handsy dude, everyone else there super nice and I had a really relaxing afternoon.
Probably busier on a weekend afternoon then a weekday, but if you are okay with slightly older guys then I’d say pretty nice place.

Go early
Well the venue is very nice; except the sauna and steam room are currently closed (July 2021) due to government law.
They’ve got a lovely massage chair and jacuzzi. They also offered me free tasty dinner and some nice hot tea.
I visited 7:30-9:30pm on a Monday: at 7:30, there were some cute guys there and some shower action. However everyone disappeared pretty quickly. Honestly, I think by 8pm it was completely empty, and remained so. I was happy to stay anyway for the facilities and to relax. But no sex, that’s for sure.
Apparently, the key is to arrive early: they open at 1pm and that’s probably about a good time to arrive, they say.
There are some small discounts available to tourists and under 30s (eg me).
Not the biggest place by any stretch, but based on the guys I saw when I arrived, I reckon you will have a good time if you plan your visit to go early; apparently weekends can be a little busier as well (as you would imagine).

Loving it, small but lots of possibilities and fun
Very convenient location, small but many different options: Steam room, jacuzzi, TV room with big sofabed, small maze, cabins, chill out lounge, drinks, snacks... everything a good gay sauna features but in tiny Hong Kong style ;-) I am loving it. Never been disappointed and I go there quite often :) I am white, caucasian by the way.

I’d recommend Central MTR D1, but honestly it’s not really near either Central or Sheung Wan MTR... it’s up lots of winding stairs on hills... be prepared to walk and get sweaty! You can have a shower when you arrive ;) (Or take a taxi.)

Friendly and Hot Action
Nice mix of Hong Kong / mainland Chinese / Westerners. Really hot action this Saturday afternoon for this Hong Kong based 50 year old English guy.. Highly recommended. As I was leaving I noticed the 2 guys in charge were preparing a dinner of lamb chops and mashed potato - and then they asked me to join them! Haha, so friendly, especially for Hong Kong :) Next time, Thanks, guys.

Very friendly staff and management
I went here for the first time yesterday and was greeted by the manager, he was very friendly which made me feel assured of a good place, yes it's small but I had some fun. I would say the best time to go would be 4pm during the week. Unfortunately I left today at 5 and things were just starting to heat up, there's locals as well as foreigners.

White foreigners get charged 50% more than Asians (150HKD), EVEN THOUGH Hong Kong GDP per head exceeds many European countries.
The attitude of the owner Mr Wah to foreigners is indifferent at best, usually quite rude and arrogant.
If you go insist to pay the HK price (100 HKD) or leave for another sauna..
This is an uncomfortable place to visit: you get changed in a corridor and the cabins don't lock properly so people can open the doors from outside. The whole place is small and awkward. I couldn't wait to leave.

Tiny place but it doesn't necessarily mean no action
I am a Chinese living in Sydney Australia.
First time at CE was back in May 2018. It was 3-ish in a Wednesday afternoon when I went in. It was quiet at the beginning but then the place started filling up after 4pm.
Picked up a white guy in the steam room and then had a brief session with him in one of the breakout rooms before playing with him and another white guy and a local guy in the dark room. Then moved on to have a long session with the local guy in a room. Later, met with an American guy to finish the fantastic day.
Given the great experience of the 1st visit, I was under the impression that the same would happen to my 2nd time there six months later, even though I was going with my partner. This time also 3-ish but on Tuesday. Almost no actions there for me until about 7pm - we went out, for an hour or two, to get some food before going back, when I was about to give up. Two young white guys came in. I hooked up with one of them who said he was from South Africa working in Shenzhen in the steam room.
Was told the best time to go there is 4pm-7pm, the busiest time of a day I guess.

A bit small, smelly and boring
When there on a weekend and only saw a few older guys. After a while, a local guy came in and we had fun in the room. However, the room was so smelly, and there's no tissue provided! Needs improvement.

Good venue for white guys
White guys, regardless of age and look, are likely to attract the mainly over 30 y/o locals at CE Sauna. Most people come in, have fun then leave. Very few people linger on, so, the place is never crowded.

Ever reliable
Before I left I had a chance to visit CE again. I observed that the peak time is in the afternoon. What I like about the place is the diverse clientele. The place is also comfortable. If you want to relax after some hot action, you can stay in their viewing room which has a bed and lounge chairs. What is more exciting is action still happens in the viewing room which I think is the reason why they placed a bed in it!
I happen to watch a Chinese guy with a Caucasian guy while I was watching a Bel Ami movie! I had the pleasure of watching two shows. One on the tv screen the other one live! CE shows the videos I really like, Bel Ami and latin videos. The action in the steam room was also really hot!
What is more exciting than having six guys intertwined and you are the sixth guy joining them! Just like the steam room which is next to the shower, the sauna is also located after you enter another shower area but in this area, there is a tv showing hot all-male sex videos. You can watch the videos while taking a shower with some guy or having fun in the sauna. One of their cabins also has a tv showing m2m videos. One thing I noticed is that Chinese guys really loves kissing and they really kiss! And the Caucasian guys seems to have a fondness to do Chinese or Asian guys! The Caucasian guys always pair up with Chinese or Asian guys, not with their fellow Caucasians.
The place is conveniently located in a Central area which is near Airport Express giving you another chance of tasting what is hot in Hong Kong while waiting for your flight! I'm definitely cumming back!

CE is indeed going strong. The people who go there are really open and accepting. The guys have no qualms having sex in front of you which is really very nice. A Caucasian guy was being sucked by a young Chinese guy in a the cabin and the door was open for everybody to see. Friendly staff very small place
This place is very small like an apartment house turned into a sauna (perhaps the staff live there). Very limited space wise and only a few private rooms. The place is very unassuming - don’t expect fancy facilities. If you go at night you will be there by yourself, the busiest time is when they open around 6 ish.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating, I even got a free pass cause when I got there at 8 pm - the place was empty but managed to visit a second time on an earlier time and it was better under the circumstances.

Not impressed
The good thing is there are quite a few westerners.
The bad things are only condoms and lube in the locker they give you. Not in the rooms which is very inconvenient. Also they give only one towel and if you need a clean dry towel they will charge you a few dollars.
They have a free massage chair which is nice.

I was there today and 2 days ago. I am a white French 45 yo. Easy to find this sauna close to 7/eleven. Staff were really friendly. Price good, 150 the 1st time and they gave me a card, next visit for 98$. Free coffee and some fruits free too. Yes, it's small like all saunas in HK downtown. I had a lot of fun with local guys.

Just back from a wonderful visit
Maybe I have been lucky but I travels all over the world and tonight was one of my best sauna trip. Maybe because it is tiny, we can not avoid contacts... Crew was very friendly.

I found this place by accident yesterday . Its a very very clean place . The guy @ the frontdesk was beautiful and friendly. The place is small. There where 4 other guys. Two where interested only in their smartphone and a daddy couple wanted to play together. So I fooled around with the daddy couple and left. The guy @frontdesk even gave me a card to come back later. Very friendly place above a 7 Eleven.

Plenty of action
This sauna is small, but it is its size that guarantees plenty of action! The steam room was busy, you were openly cruised in the showers, and the relaxation rooms were constantly in use. Staff were very friendly. It's perhaps because I got lucky twice that I am giving this place a positive review but I wasn't the only one having fun...very mixed crowd. Yes, it could do with being a little cleaner, but I don't like my saunas to be temples of marble and opulence.

It's a very small sauna and not clean at all. Smelly shower place and the room. Towels are dirty. Those sandals are never cleaned before the next customer use.

The place is small... true.
The place is not new anymore... true.
The reception guys are often (almost permanently, it seems LOL) eating cooked food... true too.
The number of customers at any given time rarely exceeds 15... yes, true.
But... it is also the hottest, the cruisiest, the most action-filled place in this galaxy.

Its Okay!
The place is not bad, but not the best either. Its the most posh place in HK, Central but the crowd in comparison is not that good. The diversity is god here, being a South-Asian myself, I was welcomed well.
The place is too small and there was not much action going for a Friday night. I had some group fun in shower & some in cubicles. The hotness level of the guys is medium.

Bad experience. Smelly place.
I have been here twice. I would not go back there. The shower area smelled. The small rooms definitely had that fishy odor. I am not sure how the staffs cleaned there after hours.
The local guys looked very dirty as well. Some of them spit loudly in the showers. They never respected or considered the place as a share space with others. Many smoke inside the toilet and left a strong burning odor inside.
The staffs, owners, and customers were gossips. Commenting customer's size, and say things behind others when they could not take rejection. Seriously?

Yes, smoker in small tiny bathroom, not good for non smoker like myself, the shower outside the steam room is smelly and the steam room is rank... BUT, the shower outside the dry sauna is much better, seems newer and cleaner and less smell, I didn't notice it at the beginning but found it at the opposite end of the building pass the laundry room.

Went there twice, then no more
1st, the entrance fee is 150 hkd, then gave you a member card for next time, so 2nd, only paid 98 hkd.
It is really small and stupid design. Small toilet without water pipe for bottoms, only one.
Only four small rooms, no paper, no condom and gel, so you must bring them into, used out and no more condom later at my 2nd time.
The better thing, good location, so more guests and types, easier to find out yours, but only peak time from 3pm to 6 pm, then so quiet after 6pm, even no one later.
The staffs are nice, fruit and snack free, and water. Never go there again after visiting the wonderful Gateway sauna, for the detail you can check my comment there.

Great first sauna experience
I've never been to a sauna before to compare this to, but I enjoyed my time. I unfortunately went after peak time but still managed to have some great play time with some guys. I'll definitely come back again.

Went on a Saturday night, friendly staff but really quiet, only 7-9 guys there, none attractive or in shape, very small, and old sauna, had to leave after 10 mins.

First time, never again
Visited there on Tuesday 5.30pm, I assume that there will be crowd especially those after work. Regrettably only 8 person including myself and it seems really crowded within this tiny spaces (only 4 private cabin available and really smelly). I'm an Asian Chinese bottom with average body, but unable to find an available top, other than a hairy 100kgs Caucasian who was sweating in sauna room. Eventually I left after 30 minutes stay empty handed. As a first time visitor, this will be the last time to visit this sauna. I rushed to other sauna afterwards and seeing full of crowd, I know I have to blacklist CE Sauna due to its poor conditions and poor visitor response.

Very friendly place
I went to this sauna on week on January 2017. It was a really nice place, full of guys and clean.
Condom and lubricants were available and free. The staff was really friendly.
Facilities were good and hot guys was there.
Location was ok. This is a very good place in hong kong to relax and enjoy men.

Absolutely Gross
Was hit by a pungent smell upon entry, and saw the staff eating/cooking behind the reception. multiple plates of greyish oily matters laid on old newspapers. The smell was so bad I could finish undressing and had to gtfo, almost bump into a pale bloated hairy belly type thing in my hurry. Was there less than 3 mins and from super horny to mildly depressed at the end.

I recommend this place!
I have gone here twice, and will go once more before I go back home.
Despite my lack of "perfect" body, these guys loved me. And I loved them right back.
The workers were super friendly. The clientele were mostly sensuous and fun to play with (and had very sexy bodies). Unlike Turkish guys (I'm visiting from Istanbul), nobody tried to engage in unsafe sex. Just perfect.

I went there last Saturday and had some fun with a Thai man and an Aussie. Most people there were local Asians but there were a few white guys and Indian men. The staff were friendly but the place extremely small and the facilities poor. There was a Jacuzzi without water so I thought they were quite creative! There was no changing room so you have to unclothe yourself in front of everyone else. Like some people said it's a hit or miss. I went there in the afternoon and saw some 15 people there and when I left a few hours later there were only 2 or 3.

A paradise for Caucasians
It is a small sauna, but very clean with friendly staff.
It seems there are more locals who are keen to have fun with Caucasians. If you are young fit Caucasian, everyone is following you. Although you are not popular at other sauna because of the age or body shape, you will have more chances to have fun with locals as long as you are Caucasian.
As I mentioned the place is very small, but there are sauna, bath tub, team sauna, four rooms, and relaxing cabin. So you have enough place to have fun.

Best experience.
I have been couple of times on varied different occasions. It's above the 7/11. The staff is not over friendly neither are they rude. It's hit or miss. Sometimes in the afternoon the sauna has been extremely packed and lot of action in corridors and sometimes non action at all. However you meet that one guy for your pheromones to take over, so one of the not so packed days I met a Pakistani guy and had the best fun ever. I went back the next day and I didn't get lucky. Hit or miss!!

Fairly easy to find, if you take a few minutes. Yes, quite small, but you can have nice experiences there, even if you don't have a pre-arranged Planetromeo date like me. The staff was very nice, they were cooking for staff members and offerend me some delicious soup too.

Taxi there, close, taxi back
Landed today 3/3/16, chose to go to this sauna as listed in Utopia as oldest and reliable. Checked their website, open 24 hrs. Taxi there, spent time finding it as there's TWO 7/11 in that street! Shutters down. Rang the white door buzzer several times, heard it buzz on other side of shutters but no answer. Taxi back. Waste of time and money.

off Peak perhaps?
Came here Friday 26/2/16 8:00 - 9:30 thinking it would be peak time... But the whole time I was there it was me.. an Asian uncle and a white uncle! The place is definitely clean ( perhaps cause it's not used?) And has a nice cosy feel about it. Would've been a safe warm place to gather with like minded friends but was dead when I was there. Facilities are poor
It was my first time there, the reception is new, politely. It is very small place, towel need to pay if you asked for second one, soap is like water, I think they want to save money. Water is not hot enough. Condom you need to go to the reception to take, not in the room. It is so embarrassing! So you need to re-high again when you back to the room. Door lock is not really secured, some guys opened easily when you are with someone, always open and close, making you busy................. Anyways, if not international guys there, I won't go again.
Water isn't real distilled water. It seems from the water pipe, as I didn't see the cover is sealed. Local guys are crazy horny, they follow you all the time and touch.

I have been to many saunas and this one needs a face lift. The shower area and carpet in the locker area all look old. Sauna and steam room are small. I did manage to have some fun and the front desk was nice (maybe because I'm Asian) but won't be returning.

Waste of time and money
Went in a Thursday night just after 10pm. Perhaps I was unlucky but the staff outnumbered the clients in a ratio of 3 to one. When I left after 5 minutes the staff said why you leaving now - what about the Asian guy in the TV lounge. I told them 1) it was hardly a tv lounge and 2) the guy was more interested in his iPhone.
The venue is tiny. The sauna and steam room fit for 3 people at a maximum. Overall disappointed but c,eat la vie.

White no Asian!
Went on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm. It's next to the 7-11 go in the door elevator on your right 2nd floor. The place is small. I mean really small. The day I went it was 75% white and 25% old Asian uncles. I stayed maybe 10-15 minutes. I admit going to any sauna is hit and miss. Today was def a miss. It was clean tho so that's a plus. If you like white guys this is your place.

CE broke my sauna cherry while visiting HK, mainly because it's close and I was horny. Staff are really friendly and it kinda felt like chillin in someone's apt. Good place
Very small and basic place but very clean. I was there last Saturday in the afternoon. The crowd was good, mostly young and cute locals. It was not difficult to find it after reading all the comments here. The staff were extremely good, accommodating and friendly. If you just want some action for one or two hours, this is the right place. If you want to socialize and relax longer, then try another place. I had a great time.

Great Hideaway
First time in a bath house. Location is discreetly tucked near the convenience store, so no one can notice unless they are stalking at you. Getting around the area is a breeze but once there, it is not easy to find since they don't have big signs. Upon entry, staffs made us comfortable, all smile. Place is very small but it makes it easier for us to navigate with my friend. Also, they averagely clean. Went there on a weekday, mix of locals and foreigners. Got great encounters with hot foreigners, were my friend and I enjoyed.
Will certainly pay a visit in the future since staffs made us comfortable and we had quality encounters, but will also check out other bath houses to compare. We don't go usually to bath houses, but it's safer and better option than meeting a random guy in Hong Kong.

Visited this place in January. Really run down and dirty. Definitely a lot better saunas in Hong Kong. They have removed the sling here also and the place is in need of a big overhaul. Cheap and dirty. Hard to get a hookup as not many visit here now.

The place to go if you're a foreigner
I was there early December 2014. Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. Action on Saturday and Sunday between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Local guys that dig foreigners go here. Small, but clean. I had a blast and will certainly return.

Cosy and well equipped.
Arrived at CE onThursday 15/10/2014 before 17:00 and stayed until around 18:30. Very friendly staff welcomed me at the reception. I've already known it's a small sauna, yet I was surprised that it's well equipped despite of the limit of space. For me, its size was decent as I did not waste most of my time running around searching and tracking guys like the way I did in large saunas. Not many people visiting during my stay yet as a sauna-lover I understand it's not the number of people making a sauna popular. It's all by chance and that evening I was lucky to meet my 'dream' Caucasian guy and had some memorable moments. As an exhibitionist I quite like that the 'curtain' of the private cabin could not be fully closed so other visitors may peek in a little. Anyway, if I have not met the Caucasian, I may then try the massage chair or relax more in the steam room and the sauna, as its cosines just suited me. No doubt that I will visit again if I get the chance.

Actually pretty easy to find - there are 'CE' stickers outside and its above the 7-11. Stunningly small, so lots of loitering around in the corridor if you can't find your man. Steam room is a decent size, but the dry sauna is 3 people max. The jacuzzi, sunbed and other rooms were closed when I was there. Went on Sunday PM - about 15 blokes all shapes and sizes from gym fit to 20's skinnies to past their prime. Staff pleasant. $5 charge for extra towels.

Action guaranteed
Small and worn out! Seriously needs a make over! Having said that I have visited twice and was never disappointed. I'm a white guy and prefer Asians which makes this place perfect. Not my favorite sauna in Hong Kong but you are certain of action.

safe,friendly, good quality sex
Was there last Thursday, staff helped me to store my cabin bag. Did not take long to cruise for a young guy. Very satisfying. There are clips on the curtains on cubicles and the locals just open them for a peek. Will definitely visit again for my next visit.
