    Coco Beach (public beach)
The rocky but beautiful Coco Beach is a popular hangout for gay nudist sunbathers.

The beach is located to the East of Nice port and requires a bit of a walk to reach. From Coco Beach Restaurant, follow the path east for about 10 minutes.

NOT A NUDIST BEACH / PAS NUDISTE !!

I went there last month and saw one other man sunbathing nude a bit further down at Plateau/Cape de Nice. I had my pants off only 10 minutes before a policeman came to tell me off. Not a great first-time experience sunbathing nude.. belle plage, mais gardez votre pantalon !

    More Straight than Gay

Coco Beach is a 15-minute walk from Le Port. The coastline is spectacular but when you get to the "beach" under the burnt out Coco Restaurant, you will find swarms of elderly straights and their grandkids scrambling for any rock comfortably to sit on. Stayed only one hour then headed back to Castel Plage (public beach) which was wall-to-wall gay on a Saturday afternoon.

    Don't bother

Terrible experience walked 2/3 miles to get to this "gay beach" it's not gay and it's defiantly not a beach. Just some rocks and only one entry point which is unsuitable for more elderly or heavy people. About 40/50 people all mixed none nude mostly couples. Don't waste your time.

    Coco ' nude beach'

Visited this area earlier this July (2015) This is not an authorised area for nude bathing or swimming. While a beautiful spot, this is an uncomfortable area due to concrete & rocks. Gay men are here, some nude- be warned, POLICE spy on bathers from their boat via binoculars & I got a 13 euro fine for nude bathing which needs to be paid, which was both embarrassing & annoying!

    Not worth the hike

We walked for about 15 minutes past Coco Beach and never did come to any nudists. It seemed that the only place to get in the water was a large concrete slab that was populated by clothed teenagers.
