Funky Club has been a part of the fabric of the Taipei gay scene. It's one of the first gay dance clubs in the city and continues to be popular with both locals and tourists.
Don't be put off by the discreet entrance. Once inside, you will find a fabulous 70's style disco complete with multi-coloured under floor neon lights and mirror ball. Funky Club has an excellent sound system which is put to good use by talented DJ's.
The staff are very friendly and will do everything legally possible to ensure you have a great night out. Best time to arrive is just before midnight. Regular special events with live shows.

It was closed at 2017/12/24
It is the last night at 2017/12/24. It was full of memories for Taiwanese’s 30s and 40s.
It is a pity that it was closed forever

Old and tired venue
Arrived here Saturday night midnight and the place was very quiet nothing happening. If we didn't have a local guy to take us there we would never have found the very small deserted entrance on the equally deserted street, Inside 20 to 30 people sitting around smoking and chatting. Rather sad...
The staff were very helpful and friendly and with such poor attendance on a Saturday night you can see why they need to try hard. They don't have much to keep them busy. 300 TWD entrance gets you 3 beers or 1 gin/vodka.
