Kaupinoja Sauna, a lakeside retreat by Näsijärvi near the UKK-Institute, boasts a rich history dating back to 1977. Despite transformations and renovations, including a major rebuild after a fire in 2008, it reopened in 2010, showcasing resilience and a renewed spirit. The sauna is a community treasure, owned by the city of Tampere but lovingly maintained by the winterswimming association Tampereen Talviuimarit ry.

With free entry for kids under 7 years old and affordable rates for older children and adults, Kaupinoja Sauna offers a warm (quite literally!) welcome to all.
