Main party was not good
La Demence is a legendary club that normally holds good events. However, the 28th anniversary weekend was not good.
It was poorly organised, long lines for everything and boring DJ sets. The main party on 28.10 was the biggest indoors parties I have seen, but it was poorly organized. The staff were all friendly, but the security did not organise the queue.
Those with bands had priority entry but the security did not organise this and made everyone wait in line for almost 3 hours!
The locker site was costly and took time to queue to be done. Lockers were missing and some not working. This wasted almost an hour after waiting in line for so long. The Fuse place needs to be bigger - it was over crowded and dangerous.
The DJ sets were boring, Steven Redant was just playing a podcast he posted online a few days earlier. Pagano's set was a promotional set for his own tracks and remixes, played over and over during the weekend and at every other set he has played across Europe recently....the music is moving...the crowd is bored to death already. The sound at the main party was awful, too much base.
Happy anniversary La Demence Team, but you need to improve to charge 120 euro entry fees.

Legendary
This party is legendary, not to be missed if you happen to be in Brussel during the party weekend. The dark room on the upper level was so packed with hot bearded guys at the last party. Definitely go back for more.
