    Orion Bar

Another gay bar in the Night Bazaar, near Pandee Bar and Jacky Bar. Orion has a laid-back atmosphere, with a pool table and friendly staff.

From Changklan main road, walk inside the plaza for about 100 metres, the bar is on the right.

Good bar, nice friendly drink and people watching

Visited 3 times in 4 nights, each time found guys to be chatty they tended to be other tourists as local guys English was limited. Met a really cute local guy turned out to be Burmese. I bought him a couple of beers we played some pool, no he did not let me win! No pressure for anything more. Nice bar to sit and people watch. Had a very late night once with doors closed. I'd go back again. Easy to find, not far from other bars or good places. Very safe area.

    Convenient Stopover

This small open bar is tucked discreetly into a far corner of the Night Bazaar. It's a convenient stopover if you happen to be in the food court area in the evening. I've been a couple of times for a quick drink and it's certainly not a clip joint. It's a gay bar and not a go-go. I noticed 2 or 3 working fellows. I bought a beer for one of the lads (no pressure for anything else) at a reasonable bar price of 100 baht (USD 2.80) and my cocktails (Black Label with soda) were 120 baht (about USD 3.50). No idea if there is an "off fee" for inviting host staff away from their jobs during working hours for other private consultations, but if so that would be common in the situation. The "Sleaze Alley" zones of the Night Bazaar are a thing of the past, but with Ram Bar recently re-opened down the soi, the impending relocation of Secrets as its neighbor, and rumors (only) of another local gay establishment possibly shopping for space, things could be looking up in this area.

    Beware of the extras!

Welcomes both straight and gay. A few tired guys around but beware when buying any a drink!..they not only want you to buy them the most expensive cocktail on the menu but this bar has the audacity to charge you a premium for the privilege!
