I went to Plastic Ivy recently for my first ever gay sauna experience and can say I was pleasantly surprised. I am a 21 year old closeted guy so as you can imagine, I was very nervous about going but I can honestly say from the beginning I was put at ease. I went in the sauna and was immediately approached by numerous older men “trying it on” however if you make it obvious you’re not interested - they leave you alone. After around 5 minutes of being in the sauna, I was approached again and this time engaged. Quickly, I found myself having a fun time. We then went into one of the quieter areas and had an intimate time. As other reviews say, most clientele are in the older age bracket however there are a couple of younger guys in there. Being completely honest, I found myself choosing a 46 year old over them.

I had never been to a gay/bi sauna. Indeed, I had never touched or been touched by a guy in my life. From the first moment, I was put at ease. I walked around, got my bearings, then plunged into the spa bath. I fondled and was fondled, submerged by the foam. Very hot. The steam room was another very pleasant experience. The sauna was equally hot, as was the tv room, where I found myself in a group of 4 or 5 all the action. Amazing. I was broken in by a very experienced French guy who looked after me very well. I’ve returned several more times, always in the afternoon, and have never been disappointed. Parking is available right outside, but I use the town centre pay and display car park from where it’s a five minute walk up a couple of roads and a stone-flagged slope to the main road. The building is very discreet. The staff are great. The facilities are clean and well-stocked. The food is basic but excellent. The clientele are, as others have noted, mainly forties and upwards, with just a few younger ones, and that suited me just fine. Great atmosphere. What’s not to like? After lockdown, I will definitely be back! :)

Have been to this sauna on a number of occasions, at various times on different days and have to say I have never been disappointed. I love the facilities, especially the dark area with its glory holes. My only complaint would be that they need to stop advertising it as a dark room. It is not it is a TV room. A dark room should be completely dark. which is not.which is a shame as usually to many men just stood around not doing anything. Have been to other saunas with proper dark rooms and the action is on going witch is great.

On the outskirts of Leeds, next to the motorway junctions, this Sauna is easyily accessible for many in yorkshire and so you get a good mix of all different guys depending on the days and time I've been. Being very discreet in appearance from the outside, and away from the city/town centres, this Sauna has a much higher than average bi/discreet/married/straight clientele compared to scene-saunas Busiest the first two hours of opening from my experience. Clean and cosy with all the usual facilities, with everything always well kept. The layout round the back cruising areas lends itself very well to hooking up with others. Many guys are in their mid 40s like me, but I've seen all ages there. Plastic is attitude free, with much more through through fare of men compared to the other saunas in yorkshire, so I've never gone home unsatisfied. Definitely one of the nicer ones in the UK, a bit of a hidden gem. There's no dedicated parking, but a free space under a minute walk away is easy to find.

Visited today. Normally an older crown but there was a young, hot, blonde in this eve with a nipple piercing. He sorted me out and hope he will be back.

Visited the Plastic Ivy for the first time today, very anxious but was soon at ease. Parking could be an issue but quickly found a quiet street two mins away, no one would know it was a sauna, in fact, it looks like an empty building. Small and very clean, staff were friendly and had a brief tour was soon at ease. Mixture of guys more older then younger but a few young lads and a few decent looking older guys; apparently selection was poor today but I will be back Again, some nice regulars there; was put very much at ease by one guy today chatting away in the jacuzzi. Will deffo be back this week !

It’s never been crowded but there have always been enough guys to make it worthwhile. Facilities are ok and clean and there are plenty of condoms and lube. Good age range but tends to be on the mature side.

Unfriendly staff all need training in 'customer service'. Very few clients all 5 times I have been there - empty, waste of money and time. will not bother anymore.

Been a few times, made welcome by staff usually a few in so chance to chat and get personal with like minded guys. Good sauna and Jacuzzi and as a rule get some action no need to b shy all there for same reason.

Been going for about 2 years and never been disappointed with the reception by other members.The dark areas cater for all types of sexual fun and there is plenty of variety to indulge your self with. Recommend a visit to any like minded person.

First time here yesterday. I'd been toying with idea of going to any sauna, not just this one, but glad I finally did. The staff are really friendly and once you've undressed and towelled up, they're happy to show you around the place. It may not be the biggest around, but it's definitely got enough to keep you happy. Of course you can't be sure when it's going to be busy or not, but I think it was a respectable selection for a Monday night. A nice mix of guys, but again I think I'd prefer seeing a few more closer to me in age. Having said that, there are some fine older men there who I wouldn't have minded getting to know better! I love the facilities, especially the dark area with its gloryholes - even the occasional one just in an unsuspecting wall! All rooms well stocked with condoms, lube and tissues. Especially would love to try out the room with the one-way glass as I'm a bit of an exhibitionist! If you're debating going here, just get out the house and go down there, you'll have a good time, even if it's just sitting in the bubbles and getting the stress out of you.
