    Playa de la Tejita

Playa de la Tejita is a relatively long sandy beach on the south coast, close to Tenerife South Airport. The "Blue Flag" beach is renowned as being popular with naturalists and the most gay-popular beach (with both tourists and local guys) on the island (particularly the righthand side).

There are sun loungers and shades available for hire on sunny days and there is plenty of free car parking, but otherwise facilities are quite limited. Bring your own refreshments. The beach can be windy, so taking a windbreak is a good idea.

    Snorkeling, naturism & cruising

Great beach, at the foot of a volcano. When the wind is coming from the north or the east this beach is sheltered. There is some good snorkeling amongst the rocks, and cruising round the corner at the bottom of the cliffs. For a quieter gay beach, walk clockwise round the mountain to reach La Playita.

    Quieter gay beach nearby

For a more peaceful gay beach, go to the other side of the mountain. Although you can't swim here, there are some small natural swimming pools to dip into. The beach is at the base of the big red cliff. It takes 20 mins to walk here. There are usually 5-10 guys there. TO GET THERE: BY CAR: Park at La Tejita's beach car park and walk clockwise around the base of the volcano (Montaña Roja). (There is no access around the coastline from La Tejita Beach because of the cliffs. Follow the path until you reach the sea, and keep going along the coast to the big red cliff. WALKING FROM EL MÉDANO: Follow the coast around to the left of the volcano (Montaña Roja) and keep going until you reach the high red cliffs.

    Bel mer

The beach is disappointing because it is windy but the water is clear and clean. Except to put in the bushes and the place of dredge! Quite a few visitors who flirt and show themselves naked. Mostly old people but I saw a few young people too. It is not very intimate to have fun there.

    Beaches in Tenerife

Hello, in Tenerife there are many beaches around the whole island. Not that they are exclusively gay beaches, but many if they are for nudists in case they are interested.

    Stunning Tejita

I enjoyed Tejita beach from April to July. Not so many people, but a perfect place to stay naked. The lanscape is stunning, you can even climb the Red Mountain, or go cruising in the back of the beach.

    not so bad

Was there last week. At the nothern site were many sunbeds and for rent. A bit more south there are little kind of dunes. Pretty busy with gay men cruising. Went there with my boyfried and had fun...
