Queer Azaadi Mumbai (QAM) is an annual gay Pride celebration (the largest in India) with colourful parade, taking place at the August Kranti Maidan to walk to Kennedy Bridge.
Started in 2008 and now in its 10th year, QAM continues to fight for equal rights for the LGBT community. Queer Azaadi takes place around February-March, with has an estimated 7,000 participants each year.
