Getting out of District 1 was a bit of a priority for us, but we didn’t have the language. Tam solved the problem. He does a kind of grand tour of Vietnamese cuisine, having found the best producers of a particular staple — pho, pancake, noodles, fried spring rolls. He tells you a little bit about each dish or the restaurant. Tam is hilarious company — some of his comments about the non-English speaking taxi drivers had us stifling giggles. Tam is a real treasure.

We chose Tam’s tour based on the other reviews and were so glad we did. Tam made our first day in Vietnam one we will never forget, he not only gave us a first class tour of the Mekong he also provided us with tips on how to enjoy the rest of our time in Ho Chi Minh city. The 2nd night we went on a food tour, spectacular! It was great going to places most tourists would never experience. Very thankful I found Tam and his small business, See VietNam, through this website. It was my first trip to Ho Chi Minh and I only had a couple of days so needed to prioritize my experiences. Tam listened to my thoughts and customized a private two day tour package which exceeded my expectations. This young man is extremely fluent in English and very funny. He consistently adjusted the tour based on my interests and provided lots of recommendations and resources after each day's tour. He also introduced me to a great vegan restaurant and some new Vietnamese meals. I was very impressed with his work ethic and commitment to his country. He volunteers but more importantly, sponsors events to raise much needed money to support schools and families in getting supplies. I strongly encourage my fellow Americans and Canadian brothers and sisters to support See VietNam and Tam with his small business efforts. Additionally, this young man supports the LGBTQ community and is a wealth of information. He delivers an exceptional product with extremely reasonable prices. In addition to having an exceptional few days with Tam in Ho Chi Minh, I am more thankful to have made a new friend.

Tam is such a nice and open-minded guide, the best we have come across during our one month stay from north to south. He's good at awoiding the masses of tourists, so it becomes a better experience. If we ever go back to Vietnam again, we would book him - for sure!

Booked my tour using See Vietnam was definitely the best choice I ever made. My guide Mr Tam was very friendly and knowledgeable guide. I have 10 days to spend in the country and he really knows what experience suited me best from the south part of the country to the north. Being a single gay traveler, I am a bit scare and excited at the same time on what and where to see in this country but Mr Tam made everything very easy. He brought me to most of the gay scene in HCMC and Hanoi including bars and bathhouses. Very interesting! Tour to Mekong Delta and the beach side in Danang also make all the trip worth it. Highly recommended for people planning to visit Vietnam.
