A Place to Relax

I visited this place when I need a massage in Singapore. Its a good place to get your body aches relieved after work. Their rooms are clean and well-ventilated/cooled. The masseur I was assigned was Jacob and he gave a great massage. He was able to ease my body aches and pains. I will definitely visit again when I am near the area.

Great Skils

Had Nix who first did a full body scrub, was the first of my kind on a full metal table, but really really good! highly recommended. Bit unfortunate that people are going by around outside the whole time and only separated by a curtain. But I am not shy and it was a very memorable experience. The spa was clean and tidy and modern. They ask for ID and for you to pay upfront. Tipped around sgd 50 and it was fine. Would like to go back to try the other masseurs.

The Room too hot,NO AIRCON..Bad experience.

Paid 92 dollars for the one hour service. The room aircon not working. The therapist need to on the aircon like every 5 minutes. Just imagine how many time the therapist on the aircon within one hour.. Very irritating.

Competent Massage, Not Sensual

I decided to try out Shuang Spa given the many positive reviews. Paid $105 for a 90 minute body scrub and oil massage with a masseur named Lance, a petite but fit-ish guy. Body scrub was quite good as my skin felt much softer after. When it came to the oil massage, was expecting something a little more tantalizing, but it was more like a normal massage. When I was asked if I was interested in getting any additional services, I turned it down as the massage never felt sensual at all. All in all, including the 2 showers (after scrub, and after oil massage), lasted for just about 70 minutes.

Not erotic; Good for regular massage only

Paid $92 for a 60 min massage. As this is ostensibly a gay massage, was expecting that to include some titillation and end with a bang so to speak. As it turned out, the massage was a very competent but very wholesome massage, with nothing fun about it at all. Then towards the end, masseur asked if I wanted 'extra service'; $30 for the most basic extra service. Seeing as I'd come all this way, I obliged, for what was indeed a very no-frills extra service. Very disappointing that a 'gay massage' has nothing gay about it unless you pay extra for tips. Felt like I should've just gotten a 60 min massage from a neighbourhood aunty, then finished myself off at home.

Great Massage

I had my massage around the last week of May when I was visiting Singapore. Saw that the reviews for this place was relatively high, so I thought to try out my first M2M massage here. When I arrived, I was greeted with friendly staff attendant who offered me tea and was introduced to my masseur, Kris. Chose the "Off-Peak" Promo for $99 with a 30 min body scrub and 60 min oil massage. Kris was amazing. The scrub felt great and I was feeling soft. Showered off and went straight into the massage. He applied the right amount of pressure and took his time to give a quality massage. I felt 100% relaxed and finished nicely towards the end of my session. When I come back to visit, will definitely come back to Shuang Spa for another M2M massage.

Went to this place last night. Ambiance was good, place was clean and neat. Facilities were good too. Receptionist was friendly and professional. But massage was not that great, and the guy wanted to offer extra service which were extortionate for what he did.. On refusal, he went a bit weird. 60-min massage lasted only 45 minutes. '- Asked for a “muscular” therapist, then turned out to be (at least for me) slim. - He repeated the same move way too much. I needed to ask him to change the move so many times. Nothing special

I was today at the Shesuhag spa, because they had a nice offer until 5pm for a 80min Massage just 99,00 SGD. The first impression was OK, got a tee and a tablet and be asked what I want. First offer was not the afternoon promotion, so I found it on the tablet and and booked the promotion. Got a form and be asked on it also about any problems. Quite nice I thought. I would be escorted to the room and be pleased to take a shower, what I did. The massage starts very nice but after 50 minutes got ask if i like [an additional massage], I didn’t agree and from that point the massage went very differently, so I stopped it after 15 min. I also filled out the survey, but I am sure the management will never get it to read. Just would like to finish that I expect a bit more in a gay spa.

Called three hours ahead for a appointment and specifically mentioned not to provide me with a skinny therapist, but, was attended by a skinny one. I requested for a changed but this is not the main point, I should not be made to tell the therapist that he's not preferred and requested that changed. Anyway, the whole treatment by another therapist was fine so it made up for this incident. However, I may revisit again but I do hope that the establishment should avoid this kind of embarrassing situation in the future.

Visited Shuang Spa on 3rd July. Opted for 80 minutes promotion massage. Was offered a cup of hot tea upon arrival. This good looking therapist very professional and knows his job well. Really enjoy the whole session. The room was clean and private shower room was nice. But was disappointed as I was not allowed to add on tips more than 30 bucks on my credit card. As a tourist I did not change much cash and most of time I am using credit card to make payment. And one more thing there was no WiFi ? Seriously? Hope the management will do something about these thing. Nevertheless I would like to thank Louis for the great massage...

Bad experience!

Visited the place on 28th April, there are 3 guys. Chose the scrub and massage option for 99 sgd. The scrub was strictly ok but the massage was horrible. Either the oil was not good out the guy was rough. It was neither sensual nor relaxing. I actually felt bruised after the massage. Ultimately I left and filled up a feedback form giving a bad review. However since it is an open form, the Masseur might not submit it seeing a bad feedback. I wont return.

Nice facilities

I recently visited after Chinese New Year. Facilities are great and clean and the lounge manager is friendly. No offense but i was surprised that the masseur assigned to me was a guy around his 50s I guess. I said to myself okay that's fine because I was there for a massage and thought he probably is good....but nope, there was no pressure at all and I felt like someone just put oil all over my body. 15 minutes before the end, he [offered extra service which I declined]. I said no thank you but he still continued. After 3 tries of signaling no, he finally stopped and then went on with the massage. Everyone was friendly but that was a disappointing experience overall.

A pity

Wanted to visit the spa yesterday but was disappointed to know that there was only 2 therapist available. Guess it must be the Chinese New Year celebration, but it's a Sunday! Even my fav therapist wasn't around!

Worst experience ever

Went last night and had a superb massage. Went back tonight on my last night for scrub and massage. Therapist got half the scrub on my back and some other therapist called him from outside the door. He left the room without saying anything. Waited over five minutes and still no therapist. Got up and showered off. Therapist returned as I was finished and I told him he was leaving. Asked me not to go as he would get in trouble. Told him he should have told me what was going on and the scrub was burning my back. He apologized and I left. Felt bad for him and left him $20 tip when it should have been nothing. So won't recommend this place after such a disastrous experience. Too bad as it was a nice place. No manager seemed to be around as everyone else was running around but didn't bother to ask if they could assist. Guess they were out celebrating Chinese New Years in the neighbourhood

Pleasurable experience...

Walked in to this SPA and the manager offered a cup of hot tea and felt really welcome:) The manager informed before hand that I will be served by male therapist. The whole session very relaxing. Yecob was very professional and friendly. Yo gal, Yecob is da man.....

Everything good!!!

During my 4 day stop over in Singapore I tried Shuang Spa not 1 but 2 times. I was served by the same therapist. Took the $103 promotion of 1 hour message and 30 minutes body scrub ( all services done inside the room as the room attached with private shower room, that was what I am looking for ). Massage and scrub was so relaxing and refreshing. The therapist was a manly looking muscular guy name Jaycob. Will come back again.

Just what I needed..

Went to this Spa and selected 90 minutes massage. Jacob had a pair of warm hands and the massage was very relaxing. Great ambience and room very clean. Would definitely come back again soon.

Great massage

Had the 90 minute dream massage, with essential oil. Very friendly welcome, I had made a reservation for me and my friend ahead of time. Tea offered . The massage room has it's own shower facility . Very professional massage, good and strong. No skimping on massage time or hassling for tips. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back next time in Singapore. Good directions on website, so very easy to find.

Everything OK but the Spa quite warm and humid..

During my step over in Singapore , I googled and found about Shuang Spa and gave a try. The spa got good facilities and the staff was good and professional. The only shortcomings is when I stepped in the spa I felt quite warm and humid. As Singapore weather is very hot, as customer we expect spa will be colder. Hopefully the Spa owner will do something about it..

Really love the place and service..

The moment I got in Shuang Spa I was greeted by a friendly therapist. Offering me a cup of cold water as just perfect for me as the weather freaking hot. The therapist recommended me their promotion package of one hour massage and 30 mins body scrub. The room was clean and attached with private shower room . ( just perfect as I dont need to go outside for a shower like some other spa ) I love the therapist massage skills. Very relaxing.. Definitely will come back again!!

What a great experience !!

When entered Shuang Spa greeted by a manly mascular staff. Offered me a cup of cold water. He recommended me a promotion of 60 minutes massage + 30 minutes body scrub with the price of $103 ( including essential oil) . The whole session was so relaxing and soothing. The room also clean and not like some spa the floor quite sticky. Really enjoy this place and friendly staff !!

Just nice...

Went to Shuang Spa and was given a warm welcome by staff by offering a cup of cold water.. Chosen the 1 hour massage. The room attached with a private bath room and clean. The massage was relaxing and enjoyable. The therapist was friendly and professional. Too bad that I forgot his name. He was Malaysian Chinese therapist , quite mascular and about my height around 178cm. After finish the massage session he offerred me a cup of hot tea. :)

Great time tonight

Had a 90 min candle massage with nicks tonight and yes that is his name. Cute guy who was super polite. Took extra care with the massage and the finale was probably the best I have had in Singapore. Would highly recommend him and this place is one of the nicest I have been to in this city. Check it out. Very much like a boutique spa right on the Main Street.

Relaxing massage!!

Came here weeks ago for relaxing massage. The room attached with private bathroom. Jacob was quite muscular and provided very relaxing massage. Opted for BTB sevice, what a surprise he was a rare Chinese with biggie magic stick.. What a surprise!!

very disappointed

After reading comments,I call and make an appointment with Jacob at night after my dinner. When I sitting in the cab with my expecting mood to looking him. (my god why totally different) he abt 40 yrs old chubby I was very disappointed with this guy massage skills qui,te junior level and strange really not professional. All review is fake! 3 weeks here for business trip thinking to go try other therapist or not?

Almost Perfecto

Before heading to Bali for final holiday tour , my friend and I decided to try a massage session at Shuang Spa. The massage room is nice with attached bathroom. I was served by Jacob. He was very professional and friendly with nice magic stick. This is perfecto. Highly recommended..:)

Surprise

Bad experience

I thought for 110 SGD for 90 min the therapist should have a great experience. But it seems he never do any massage in his life. Very bad strong touching. He touch your leg 2 min and then your back and then your arms. And then he cover you and start again. So after 20 min I just ask him if he has ever made a massage and he start to complain me a lot. I request to change therapist but he shout me I have to pay 1 more hour. Finally I stop everything and I pay for 30 min. Never come again to this place.

Great service and friendly staff

Had an early afternoon off from work and at a friend's recommendation scheduled a last minute appointment for a body scrub and an hour massage. Both services were conducted by the same therapist and he was very professional and friendly and even too time to focus on my sore areas on the back. The owner, David, took time to chit chat with me after my session and was very warm and inviting. Highly recommend this space.

Good massage

Had a good massage. Seems that this guys know their stuff. Especially interesting is the peppermint oil massage which they say is good for clearing of the lungs, but feels quite cold, could be because of the peppermint.

Hits and misses

Saw some of the reviews and was initially hesitant to try out their service. But boy was I wrong. Enjoyed my 90 minutes of massage with them. The service was great and massage was excellent. Will be back here again on my next trip.

Bad experience

Made appointment and showed up on time. The place was locked. Rang the bell no answer, called their phone 7 times, no answer. Waited outside for 5 mins in the heat and decided to leave as no respect at all for appointments made. 35 mins later, got a call from Shuangspa saying he was busy and whether I would like to come back. This attitude is unacceptable. I wasted my effort to appear on time, not to mention the frustration and anger for being 'stood up'. - Shuangspa where is your manners ? Been busy, you must remember you have made appointment and to at least give your customer a call to reschedule if you are busy. Will stay away from such spa and not reliable at all !

Worth the price!

Exceptional Service

This is the first time I have tried Shuang Spa. I must say I was very impressed with the welcoming attitude of the staff. It was only surpassed by the excellent Devine massage that Phil gave me. He was extremely attentive to all my needs. At the end, I asked for assistance in getting a cab. The manager took it upon himself to go and get a cab for me. I highly recommend Shuang Spa.

Out for tips

First time I went I had a great experience and the masseur did a great job and did not demand a tip. So I have him one. Next two times, massage was mediocre and both times the masseur stopped the massage 20 mins before end. I didn't want this so they carried on and both finished the one hour massage 15 mins early. Now if this was Thailand and I had paid $10 for an hour fair enough. But not when the service is almost $100! Nice environment, shame about their service! Would not recommend!

Not good :(

I've tried Shuang Spa last January. I was able to get a Filipino therapist. He's cute but after the extra service, he didn't finish the massage anymore. I will not recommend this spa to my friends..

Great service!

This is my first time there and it was excellent service by my therapist! My therapist, Lance made sure I was relax and was checking with me every now and then if the pressure was alright. Glad I was there during my stop over in Singapore.
