favorite massage in HK
rooms are clean, spacious and have showers -- always a plus. When I'm in HK i always ask for Charles, exceptionally nice, hunky and pleasant and also a great understanding of physio and sports-related massage. He helped me with recurrent back pain and is very attentive to ensure you leave in a far better condition! can't recommend him enough but others there are also very proficient --but Charles is my go-to.

For information: I wanted to book an early afternoon massage at Spa 17 today. I phoned but sadly I couldn’t get a booking. The person who took my call helpfully suggested I try to get an appointment at Touch by 17 in Kowloon (the sister company). I phoned Touch by 17 and managed to get an appointment. Touch was easy to find – MTR to Yau Ma Tei and less than a one minute walk from exit D. I was very pleasantly surprised: the room I was given was spacious and had an ensuite shower, toilet and wash basin (I understand not all the rooms are the same).
Everything was very clean. There was very soft piped music and the whole place was very quiet – a great place to really relax. As an alternative to Spa 17 I can recommend Touch by 17 which, I was told, less busy during the late morning and early afternoon hours.

I very recently had a facial and body massage given by Scott. The facial lasted 45 minutes and was very relaxing, the massage was 90 minutes. Scott’s massage technique is part stretching and part deep tissue probing he really does do a very professional job. Scott has a friendly cheerful personality – he made me feel very special. Highly recommended.

The closure of WIZ Spa caused me serious concern that I would lose contact with several of the most professional masseurs in the industry; therapists who I have visited for several years. Today, after visiting Spa17, I learned that Scott, Charles, Marcus and others (sorry I do not have all their names) have migrated to Spa17 and now operate out of both Spa17 (Causeway Bay) and Touch by 17 (Yau Ma Tei). This is excellent news especially for all those who thought they might have lost contact with this team of truly skillful masseurs. Welcome back guys!

Incredible Massage
This is the very first time I came to Hong Kong as a transit stop. I had one day here and I tried here as it's well commented. I tried a 4 hands massage and the experience is amazing from the start to the end. Warmth, gentle and sensual touch. I wish I can stay for longer time!

Amazing Experience
Getting day offs for a week, I decided to visit Hong Kong for relaxing and having some fun. First time to gay spa for massage, Dominic offered more than I expected. I had been hiking in Hong Kong mountains for the views and my leg was extremely tired, his skills heal me! Raymond is great
Went there based on a recommendation not looking to get happy but well massaged. I requested for Raymond who did a fantastic job so good that I went back just two days after and would have one more but ran out of time. He knows how to do it. And his English is pretty ok and he is funny too. The entrance to the shop is a bit funny and dodgy but the facilities are otherwise clean. And no strange feeling to be there. Some cute guys at the reception. But again professional. Of you want to leave happy I am sure you could but if massage is important to you then really go for Raymond. It’s reasonably priced. Of course tips are welcomed and actively asked for.

Raymond offered his service at my hotel. He was good masseur and entertainer at the same time. I can recommend Raymond from the bottom of my heart!
His name is the same as my boyfriend's, so I had a very good experience with his massage without the fun, haha!

Get Raymond
With my first time in Hong Kong, I was eager to try a gay massage and with much delight, had an amazing experience with Raymond. He was mindful of every detail of my body and really took his time through the process. It was honestly one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely come back again for Raymond.

Excellent Experience
I thoroughly enjoyed the treatment I received at Spa 17. Based on the reviews, I requested Raymond, and I was not disappointed. His hands are magic. I had arrived from a long overseas flight, and the way Raymond touched my body had me in heaven. He is a super sweet, kind man -- the setting was relaxing. Great massage and service. I couldn't ask for more
I have visited Spa 17 several times over the last few years whenever I visit Hong Kong and I have never had a bad or less than satisfactory experience.
On my most recent visit three weeks ago Raymond was my masseur and the whole experience was great. Raymond speaks good English, so being able to communicate effectively is a great help.
The massage was firm, professional and thorough as I had requested. The service could not have been better and Raymond made me feel that he wanted exactly what I wanted! He has a great sense of humour, so we could laugh and joke throughout.
I will certainly return to Spa 17 next time I visit Hong Kong

all about tips
The masseurs here seem to be all about tips. Tried Jacob recently, and he gave an OK massage but kept offering b2b service for extra tips. But he was so unenthusiastic in doing the extra service that I told him to stop it after two minutes, but I still gave him 300. He complained about the small tip and threw a tantrum. Not the first time this happened with masseurs here. It seems Hong Kong masseurs now are more and more about tips.

Surprisedly Good Massage
Went to this Spa a few weeks ago, I did request a strong one by phone, ended up a bit disappointed!

The Best.
I visited Spa 17 three times a year ago and each visit was great.
I was back in Hong Kong two weeks ago and decided to try it once more.
The masseur I had last year was no longer there, but from my description Raymond was recommended.
They certainly know how to match clients with suitable masseurs, because Raymond was fantastic. So fantastic that I returned five times and would still be a returning if I had not had to leave Hong Kong.
Raymond speaks good English which is always a help. It lets you explain to the masseur what you want and then you can chat during the relaxed parts of the massage.
Firstly, Raymond asked me what I liked and obviously listened because he certainly delivered.
The massage was firm and professional, the service awesome. I will certainly return and see Raymond next time I am in Hong Kong

Cyrus is amazing!!

Crazy experience
Tried this spa since it is rated 5 star in 2016 but guess such rating will end in 2016.
Contact them in whatsapp and asked for their recommendation of the masseur and they mentioned two names and recommended one as experienced.
I'm not really good in writing so I will just list down in bullets below what I observed and experience there:
-The room was small. They wall is covered with some dilapidated wall panels.
-The shower is freaking hot and I don't know how to lower down the temperature.
-The towels are not in tip top shape. A bit grayish in color which I believe was white before.
-Masseur is inexperience contrary to the site's claim he is a pro. He literally spent like 10-15 min in my right leg with a massage a 6-year old kid could do.
-Masseur massaged my back which I could compare as a warm-up massage to other spas. Like was he even massaging me? Crazy!
-As he was very fixated massaging my legs, he forgot I have arms that needs massage as well
-He then so-called massaged my head which I don't think is a massage at all as he just kept on pressing my head with his knuckles.
-Before he left the room, he mentioned just leave some tip at the front desk if in case I wanted to with matching rolling of eyes (so rude)
Over-all, I wasted my 90 min of time for a massage of a pro in this spa. Wouldn't ever come back!

Amazing 4 hand massage!
This was my first time trying the 4 hand massage introduced by Steven the host! He recommended Sonny and Hei to me which was a perfect experience... just breathtaking! Both of them had great skills and were in-sync and just delightful! If you want something different from their regular packages, I would recommend giving the 4 hand massage a try!

Amazing body scrub package!!
I decided to try their body scrub package as the receptionist highly recommended it. Turns out he was right. It was quite different and my skin was really really smooth and freshened afterwards! I will definitely be doing this the next time I visit!

Masseur given to me was new according to the website. His skills were OK, but not enough to knead out my knots. He was also very keen even at the beginning about the tips. It was a big turn off. I think they should be reminded to do massage first which is what we paid for in the first place. Previous masseurs were better but left. I guess it is time to try other shops.

Stanley and other good masseurs (the previous good comments and high marks were from these guys) have left this centre. No more incentive to visit this place again. The rooms are small. Quietness is one of the most important things in a spa centre. However, different kinds of sound always surround you e.g.. shower in the adjacent rooms, receptionist's chatting, masseurs' chatting in the corridor,.....

Super relaxing and pleasant experience!
This was my first time coming to Hong Kong and trying out the spas. Decided to go to Spa 17 and was greeted by a very kind reception - speaks perfect English! The massage/masseur was amazing and I felt like 50lbs were lifted off my shoulders afterwards! If you're feeling the need to get an actually good massage, I would definitely try Spa 17!

Luck ran out.
This place had seen it better days. I was pampered well and tried almost all their staff in both locations. Sadly my luck ran out 2 weeks ago when I visited. The entire session was lukewarm and basically I had my back pitched and padded. All the moves were mechanical with zero passion. At the end my only relief was the fact that I could pay my due and leave and don't look back.

Last time there
The masseur was not skilled, and was just touching me with his hands. He spent the first 50 minutes to touch (not massage) my back and my shoulder.
So at the end I just had my back touched (no front, no leg, no torso).
I mentioned it at the front desk and I was told this was an experimented masseur (sic). So if this is the experimented masseur, go there at your risks.
On the other notes the place is a bit run down.

Nothing ready
We've made an appointment for the two of us. Nothing was ready, We than had to wait for 20 minutes. Then when we we're into the room, the shower only had boiling hot water, not suitable for showering. That was the point we've decided to leave. They have been better in the past, but this experience was the worst ever in mine and our hole life while living in Asia already for 6 years. You might have a good pick, but surely be prepared for a disgraceful service which costs you your time and the taxi money to get there.

Satisfying, but...
Took 90 mins massage and was assigned Charles. First 45 mins were on acupressure and 2nd half was on oil massage. Charles was strong and his strokes were smooth throughout the session. Quite sensual.
Will ask for Charles again when I visit HK next time.
By the way, Charles was able to communicate in English!

Check out for Stanley's marvelous experience
Stanley has been my dedicated massage therapist for long, his knowledge on massage is not just on releasing muscle soreness, as well as to relieve my lower back and shoulder pain using his Thai massage and Chinese acupuncture techniques. As a sportsman, I won't let general massager to work on my body, as every single part of my body is so valuable, especially my back. I do trust Stanley for his professionalism.

I have come across with Stanley through a friend and he has been pretty difficult to book but fortunately I booked him on a weekday afternoon. He is by far one of the best masseurs who knew how to apply adequate pressure to problematic area which eased my pain. This will not be my last appointment with him, and he is worth a visit.

Went in last night for a 90 min massage. The place and decent, located on the first floor, clean. So I'm a Asian guy who does not speak Cantonese but they kept trying as if I would all of a sudden know it...To be honest my masseur was not fitting at all. I'm a decent size guy with many muscles aches from traveling and work. After I was done rinsing I press the red button for them to know I'm ready. They send in the skinniest and probably one of their most unskilled masseur. Overall felt like it was a waste of time more than anything. Don't know if I would visit this spa again..

I always come here when in Hong Kong.
I read many reviews about gay spas in Hong Kong before my first visit and decided to go to Stanley at Spa 17 based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. He's very well trained! I love his technique - it's the perfect combination of therapeutic and sensual. The time I was in Hong Kong, I went to see him twice in 3 days! I highly recommend.

Great Experience
In Hong Kong for a few days, major jet lag, and decided a massage would be great. Setting up the appointment was easy (I did it through WeChat) 2 hour spa experience. I asked for Stanley because of good reviews, but he was booked, so I had Scott. The two hours were a body scrub, a mud wrap, and oil massage. I knew from the first few minutes of the scrub that I had made a great choice. I was taken to a private room with shower, was told to shower and ring a buzzer when I was done and Scott came in and got started. He's very friendly, very professional, and did a great job. (And he's fit and good-looking also! Also his English was very good.) I have massages all over the world and this was first rate. (The building was easy to find, then it got just a little tricky. After you walk in the front door, you take the left elevator to the first floor, the right elevator doesn't go to that floor.) Highly recommended. I'll be back there.

Decided to visit this place after reading all the good reviews. Unfortunately, was a disappointed experience. Walked in early and requested a 1.5 hrs massage. Maybe didn't ask clearly on what the package is, specify on masseur and straight to the room. After shower massage started, mentioned to the guy pls stronger, only few mins, back to the soft way and not pressure point at all. Second mistake, the massage started with no oil, then I asked shouldn't it be oil massage.. then the masseur immediately take off the towel and rub with oil.. all I want to say, a masseur with 1.5 yrs experience who has no idea what he is doing and just rubbing my skin, which make me feel uncomfortable and not enjoy at all... less than an hour I called it off. Just out of my curiosity, does he take proper massage course before? Does this place do quality control over their masseur? Been to so many massage before, to me, this is the worst I have ever experience...

Return visit just as good.
After visiting Spa 17 on 09/10/2016 [see review below] and finding it way above expectations, I revisited it a couple of days later. I phoned a few hours before and asked for Scott again. However I was told Scott was not there and that he was at Yau Ma Tei. I was advised that Eric was available and he would fulfil my request for a masseur over 25 and able to give a good firm massage.
Eric was in fact great. The massage was as requested. Thorough, firm, professional and as with Scott the first hour was Chinese style massage and the second Thai whole body oil massage.
Eric speaks fairly good English and we were able to have a pleasant conversation throughout. In fact we both bared our innermost secrets. The only sort of place with such anonymity that you would think of doing such a thing to a stranger. The service was just as good as my previous experience with Scott.
I will certainly revisit Spa 17 next time I am in Hong Kong.
As with Scott, I had to ask him following the massage what he wanted [for a tip]and once more he said "whatever I thought appropriate." With such genuine nice guys you can't not be generous.

Great experience.
Last night I decided go to Spa 17 after reading all the reviews and it seemed to have more positive reviews than most.
I was very pleasantly surprised.
I phoned a few hours before and asked to book a two hour firm massage with a mature masseur over 25 years old.
Despite several reviews saying Spa 17 was easy to find I did not find it so.
447 Johnson Road was easy enough find and the list of tenants the building stated that Spa 17 was on F1. However when you get to the lifts at F1 I had not been told I had to take the stairs to the right and go through an unmarked door through what looked like a laundry and then through another door to arrive.
On arrival into the small waiting room I as greeted by a pleasant young man who offered me tea or water.
There was a few minutes wait while the room was prepared and then I was introduced to my masseur, Scott who turned out to be fabulous in every way.
Scott gave me an excellent thorough massage and worked competently on every part of my body. The first hour was Chinese style and the second Thai oil.
Scott speaks reasonable English and we were able to chat throughout. Scott did everything to please.
After a short rest Scott suggested I take a shower. I replied: "I am not going anywhere. I am going to stay the night here and be your first client tomorrow morning!" [Just joking].
When it came time pay I asked how much and was tole the tip was whatever I thought.
Anyway Spa 17 exceeded my expectations and I will certainly return.

I'd skip this place
I got the 4 hand massage and had a similar experience to another reviewer. The two masseurs spent most of the massage whispering to each other in Cantonese and giggling. Also, the shower was stopped up. The massage itself was nice physically, and I must say the ending was more than satisfactory, but it was very hard to really relax with the whispering and giggling going on over my body.

Another visit
I contacted Stanley a few weeks back to schedule a massage, but the time I sought was a time he would be away. But - being such a great and professional masseur, and knowing my needs - he scheduled an appointed at Spa 17 with the masseur Scott. I was not sure what to expect, but Scott was absolutely professional in giving me what I requested, a medium-to-hard massage all over.
Scott has terrific skills in using his weight together with his hands, fingers, elbows and legs. No part of my body was left un-attended, especially the lower legs and feet (something often overlooked in Chinese massage). He was expert also in cranial massage as well as neck and shoulders... really superior in all ways.
Stanley, although away, checked in on me after I finished just to make sure I was well taken-care of. That is why I keep returning.

The massage was good but the masseurs are extremely unprofessional. I went for the 4 hand massage and they were talking and laughing right the whole time like little girls! As a customer I'm there to relax and get a massage. And I always think that it makes the place very cheap once they ask for extra tips! That's just rude

Cute massage therapist with good skills
I went to Spa 17 in causeway bay for the first time earlier this month and met the very cute but definitely skillful boy called Gilbert. The way he massaged me was very professional. He told me most of the therapists there were trained by the lead therapist Stanley, who has already been very well known within this industry. I was also keen to try Stanley and they told me Stanley has been working more in their Kowloon Branch - Touch by 17 in Yau Ma Tei. This was a good news for me since I live in Kowloon and I would definitely book an appointment with Stanley.
On a general level, the service in Spa 17 was very good and the room was very clean and cosy, making me really relaxed.

Continually improving on comfort and amenities
I have reviewed Spa 17 a number of times, but in my last two visits (both in April) some noticeable changes have nudged me to write a new review.
In the past, Stanley, one of their star masseurs, mentioned that he was trying to find a new provider for the towels given to clients to dry off with after a shower before (and after)) the massage. The new towels are larger, more plush, and a definite upgrade.
Together with these, they now provide clients with disposable shower slippers too, and there are always some extras such as body cream, good shower soap and shampoo, and deodorant as well as a comb for those who come without their own items.
A second part of this review is for the 120-min (2 hour) spa treatment special. Stanley had asked me to consider it, and finally, after an especially grueling long flight and work schedule, I made the appointment. There are not enough superlative words to express how truly great the 2-hour treatment is. Every part of my body, front and back, was thoroughly, professionally and carefully massaged and I left floating on air.
The masseurs also offer (both before and after) tea or water for the client. The professionalism, cleanliness, and care given by Stanley and the others there are unmatched. They know the client's needs and respond to them in a first-class manner.

The best massage ever!
After reading all the positive reviews about this place and Stanley I decided to give it a try.
Wow......I was not disappointed with Stanley's skills. He gave me the best 'complete' massage ever. I went twice on my recent trip to Hong Kong and if I was there longer I would have seen him again.
I have been having regular massage on my travels over the last few years and Stanley is just the best. He is so professional and gives quite firm technique to get rid of all the knots in your muscles, and then very gentle and sensual. Excellent value and I was not asked to tip but of course I did as when I receive excellent service in anything I pay for I always give a reasonable too!
I walked out completely satisfied and happy that I had visited this place and Stanley!

Staff other than Stanley
Stanley is great, nevertheless there are other staff worth trying. Rex, Kobi, Jay, Will or Hei to name a few. Not bragging here but in fact I have tried them all so I know what I am talking about. Lol. Everyone knows how and is willing to massage, instead of rushing to the happy ending. So if you like someone more buff, choices are there. One word of advice: happy ending is pretty self explanatory, and the term "body" or "body-to-body" is reversed for those hoping to feel and see 100%. Expensive though, but it's worth it

Great place for massage
There are many gay massage mentioned in travelgayasia. I picked Spa 17 because several people vote for it. I added thier Line account and made a booking via Line: simple and straightforward.
Spa hides in a small building, on level 1. There is not lift/elevator to level 1. Take liff to level 2 then walk down to level 1. A bit scary for me at the first time in Hongkong.
Spa is small but clean. Owner showed me the room and asked me took a shower. Shower with hot water was nice. After shower, I pressed the belll and waiting for my masseur, I did not know who would be mine. They picked Kobi for me: tall, fit and very cute face. He did a perfect massage, asked to make sure the pressure was enough on your body. His skill was good and make me feel relax
Nothing special if you don't agree to have a happy ending. If you go for Happy Ending, tip will be HK$2-300.
Kobi is very cute. If you like a cute face and fit body, pick Kobi.
After massage you will have a choice of ice tea, water or Coke.

Outstanding
I've been to Spa 17 a few time. Stanley is superb. His massage technique varies from Thai stretching to deep tissue to Swedish stroking in a perfect effort to relax and rejuvenate you. He's a very handsome guy too so you can keep your eyes open, mine were closed most of the time in a state of half sleep / half wake.

Yet another shout-ouot to STANLEY
I am now becoming a regular at Spa17.
It is easy to make an appointment, and since I only see STANLEY, I work out a date and time that assure me seeing him.
I appreciate that each time I see Stanley, he not only remembers me but he remembers techniques that he used - often switching them up a bit, adjusting them, or expanding them as we move along.
Stanley is also very attentive to comments here -- someone mentioned the towels (a minor issue) and already he is moving to get a new supplier. That shows how attentive and superior this spa is among the many in HK.
I tried his special honey-coconut oil massage - and I highly recommend it, if you do not mind the gentle honey scent that remains about 12 hours (or unless you shower it off immediate.y, which in a way loses the effect of the great moisture of the oil). If you schedule the appointment for a time when you can bear the oil on skin for at least a few hours, it is more beneficial.

Great professional massage
Tried this place for first time, upon friend recommendation, and was not disappointed.
Place is quite central and easy to find, building is not appealing but it's a typical no frills business building in HK. When you arrive on first floor you discover a small but we'll appointed place, clean and functional. My treatment room had a nice shower booth, had enough space, was functional, good temperature, moderate lighting, and clean.
Now the real strong point is the treatment done by Stanley, one of Spa17's strong points I think.
I took 90 mins full body massage. My body was a bit sore and stiff due to resuming much needed workout, and Stanley's technique was great, mixing dry and oil massage movements, working out the key areas and with a pleasant final touch.
Small details, as mentioned by some, yes the towels could be a bit more "plush" but this is really a detail because if you are looking first of all for a very good massage under reasonable conditions, this is a good place to go.
By the way, rates are ok, no hidden fees nor bad surprises, paid as per price list on their website and overall no issue from booking (done the day before, through wechat, convenient and reactive) to check out.
Overall recommended and likely to return.

By far the BEST
I wrote a review of my first visit to Spa 17 some weeks back, and my first encounter with Stanley. Although many places close up for the Lunar New Year festivities, I contacted Spa 17, and they were able to not only accommodate a date and time that suited me, but also to confirm the appointment again with Stanley.
It is hard to fully describe how really GREAT both the Spa 17 and Stanley are.
It is easy to set up an appointment, and the communication is excellent.
Their price range of options is great -- and I found on the 2nd visit that the place was as clean and comfortable, and welcoming as the first visit.
Given the odd time that the appointment was scheduled, I was happy to see Stanley manning the reception desk when I arrived, and he immediately showed me to the room, where you can change and shower before the appointment (another reason I like Spa 17).
Stanley has a wide range of techniques and since he remembered me, I was in blissful heaven as he worked me over from head to feet.
I occasionally chuckled because one of his unique moves is to pound (not roughly) the parts he is massaging with his cupped or open hands... like a bongo drum player. I would love to hear the "music" in Stanley's head -- he has a half-dozen rhythms he uses in various degrees, and they all are most effective. Stanley could be a professional percussionist for all I know!
To Spa 17, I am HOOKED on your spa and on Stanley. I will definitely becoming back now regularly.

Great Hands!
I have visited Spa 17 twice now, and each time I had the pleasure meeting with Eric. Eric is quiet and sweet. He applies just the right amount of pressure. He consistently asked me if the pressure was ok. Although I believe Eric is fairly new to massage, his technique is amazing! I highly recommend that you give Eric a shot!
My only criticism is the towels. They are thin and worn. It is definitely time to invest in some new towels.

Good Massage but...
The massage itself was great. One of the best massages I had.
But there not much "gay" element to the massage until the moment masseur asks if you want a HJ for extra tip, which was almost the amount of massage itself.
Since I'm not used to tipping system, this was a big downside for me.

Fantastic experience
After reading reviews of other similar spas in and around the Wan Chai-Causeway Bay - Kowloon area, I settled on Spa 17 for two reasons: location and "Stanley."
I wrote to them - they answered quickly, and soon an appointment was made to see Stanley at a time that suited both our schedules. Even when I asked 24 hours early to change the time, it was no issue.
I read many comments on the spa and wish to make some comments of my own.
It is EASY to find as there is a street sign for the "address" and one just has to know that 1/f means first floor and not the floor up the stairs where you enter... easy for one used to HK flooring. I entered the door of the building, went up the flight - saw the elevator and took the stairs (behind to the right) and as you open on to the 1st floor, the spa is there.
Cleanliness: The place was absolutely clean. Granted I was there at opening time (12 noon) - but the rooms were clean and neat.
I was given a chance to shower (always appreciated) and the room had more than enough hooks for clothing and a shelf for personal things. You ring when you are ready, and in came Stanley.
The massage was exactly what I asked for - therapeutic. He is a true professional. The lighting is low, the music soft and appropriate, and he uses an unscented oil (appreciated). The room was at a comfortable temp the whole time and Stanley works carefully and thoroughly. I felt great at the end.
I highly recommend Spa 17. Easy to find, easy on the wallet, and if you luck out with Stanley, you are sure to be contented.

Nice but a bit dirty
Stanley was amazing. He is very well skilled and I think he is the secret weapon there. The place smells a little and is a bit dirty. They really need to make more of an effort to keep it clean. If you do come here, ask for Stanley as he is a gifted masseur who know what he's doing. A great combination of playful and serious good massage

Very pleased with experience
Based on the reviews here I had booked an appointment with Stanley. However because of other circumstances I was late my appointment and because I couldn't get a hold of them, Stanley had accepted another appointment. . of course I understood and was disappointed but instead they arranged for me to have a massage with Kobi. I haven't seen Kobi mentioned in the reviews but I will mention him here. He was wonderful. He had a very good strong touch and always checked with me to make sure the pressure was OK. I will look forward to working with Stanley in the future but I was very satisfied with Kobi. I thought the facilities were fine -clean and comfortable.

Will be back again
I decided to give Spa 17 a try during my visit to HK. There is no visible sign from the street so the place is a little hard to find but it is well worth it. The facilities are tiny but clean & modern. My room had a shower with multiple water jets and a very comfortable massage table. My masseuse Eric gave me the best massage I ever had. It was a mix of acupressure & Swedish. He said he had only been doing massage for 3 months but he worked me like a pro. He's a little shy but I convinced him to turn up the lights during the last portion of the massage. I would definitely return and book him for a session when I return to Hong Kong.

Very bad
Tried this place today. Environment is new and spacious. The two hot favorites M and S are "off" today. So I got allocated a newbie. It was a painful massage. I was asked halfway if I needed HE. I had to decline as it was a painful experience. I realize it's pretty common for HK massages to involve pressing along the spine. If done correctly, it could be relieving. But not this one. Just pain and pain. Really disappointed.

Great massage
I've had massages in many different countries but I can honestly say that Stanley gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. He was consistently strong for the 90 minutes that he worked on me. I have absolutely no complaints. The Spa itself I found clean, sheets were clean as were the towel and shower. If I lived in HK I would be there once a week.

I'm privileged to travel for my work and have an opportunity to experience spas around the world.
Spa 17 has some things to learn: upgrading a dank facility (it's a damp environment but mould growing in the shower is not acceptable), training masseurs on how to give a reasonable massage (it's not their fault -- they haven't been taught the essentials), and refreshing old, gray towels would not be a bad thing, either.
Masseur was very friendly and he did the best with the training he has. Receptionist was very courteous.

Great experience with nice masseur
I have been there for a number of times. The receptionists are polite and helpful. Most of the rooms are rather spacious by HK standard. The shower facilities in some rooms might need some repair works. My favorite masseur is Marcus. He is handsome, sporty and fit, as well as gentle in personality. His massage skills are good and help relax my body after a long day of hard work. Last but not least, he is always able to give me a sensational and memorable experience after the massage.

Great Massage Experience
As an expatriate in Hong Kong and a big fans of massage, I have tried a few SPA as recommended in this website but not able to get satisfactory massage (no offend, solely personal preference) until my friend recommended me the masseur, Stanley of SPA 17.
For me, Stanley is really well trained masseur and his skill is fantastically energetic and straight to the point, his massage is so comfortable until I literally fell asleep.
About the facilities, it’s clean and well maintain with proper massage bed and shower in each room.
I will definitely recommend this place to my friends who are visiting Hong Kong!

Not the best I've had, rather disappointing.
Decided to check out this massage spa after reading through the high reviews and rating on here. I decided to get a 1 hour aromatherapy oil massage. Must say I was rather disappointed. On the plus side, the front-desk staff were nice and polite, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the facilities were clean. That's about the only good things I can say. On the down side, I asked if I could have a strong masseur because I don't like weak massages, however the masseur I got was not very strong. During the massage I asked if he could massage harder but his skill seemed to be so-so even though his skill level is marked as intermediate on their website. During the massage he left the room a couple times (once to go to the bathroom and once to get more massage oil) and at one point he went to wash the oil off his hands for about 5 minutes, all without stopping the timer (I paid for a 1 hour massage and always expect to get the full length of time that I pay for). Also, there was no nice smell to the massage oil or any scented candles in the room or anything. Being an "aromatherapy" massage you would think there would be a nice aroma, but nope, nothing. Just seemed like regular oil that he was using. Finally, being a massage shop that caters to gay clientele, "special" services are kind of expected, however the masseur I got seemed to just be going through the motions. There wasn't anything sensual about the massage at all, and when he asked if I wanted any "special" services I politely declined as I just wasn't feeling it. At least he tried to be polite and make conversation. I guess I just wasn't that into his massage so I was rather bored throughout. After the massage when I was showering he came in and started cleaning the room for the next client. He could have at least waited until I was finished. Overall, I didn't really find this massage to be a nice one, and I didn't find the masseur to be very professional. I would possibly give this massage spa another chance if I got another masseur.

magic hands
I was in a short stay at Hong Kong after Songkran in Bangkok. After all review from the internet. I decided to give a try at spa 17, its great experience of massage at HK. Stanley is really professional, even I was screaming when he was trying to rub my tight muscle. However, I feel so much better after the massage. Friendly staff. Great massage. Will return again for sure in my next visit.

A lot of fun
Wasn't sure what to expect, never been to one before. But my friend and I wanted to check things out. I had a cute petite masseuse who really kept the entire session pleasant. It was definitely not a strong massage, but he had gentle hands and just wanted to please. We had fun together at the end and I think that's what matters most. So go there with an open mind and just enjoy yourselves.

Great but could be better!
Frequently travel to HK but first time I had spa/massage treatment here. Have regular massages all over the world. First 60 minute massage was with a young very fit chap who was very pleasant, capable but lacked experience. He was attentive and charming but definitely needs more coaching and training.
My second session was a spa/massage. This was done by Stanley the spa's most senior and experienced masseur. The treatment was very good, thorough, efficient , not rushed and I was made to feel very comfortable. The massage element was excellent. Strong, precise, careful and confidently performed.
The facilities are by typical HK standard on the small side and somewhat cramped. They are now beginning to show signs of wear and tear and need to be better maintained. I would not consider them luxurious but some of the rooms are more generous than others so are not too cramped.
On the whole, all the staff are extremely pleasant and friendly and made me feel very welcome. The attention to detail is a little hit and miss but by a margin. If you are looking for a good massage by attractive male masseurs, give this place a try. I would recommend it and I will be going back.

Give it a try and ignore the conflicting reviews
I've been here already a couple of times since it opened. Of all the spas I've been to, this one is definitely clean. You get new paper slippers, there's always new sheets and clean towel.
Service is good, They do have a lot of masseurs, so you need to tell them what you want. For a really good massage, can't go wrong with Stanley.

One of the best ever
I reviewed a lot of the sites about HK spas and decided to try this one. Welcoming and renovated location. Excellent room and table. Stanley was professional, experienced and very attentive. 90 mins of deep tissue combined with sensual strokes. I highly recommend this place. Make your own choice as I did and don't be disappointed!

Deceptive First Impression, Disappointing Reality :(
At first glance I was very impressed with the nice room. However as my first one hour progressed I was more and more disappointed. For the price of the room (which is small), you don't get much.
Negatives:
- Small and dingy room, no conditioner in the shower.
- Air Conditioning, although branding with newly appearance, was not refreshing at all.
- The bed sheets did not feel clean, and I felt uncomfortable and could not get relexing.
- Upon closer inspection I found lots of little specks of dirt and pieces of who knows what. Definitely not freshly laundered :P

Maybe this place is ok for some, but for me I couldn't wait to leave!!!

Ignore the "Haters"
Decided to check out this new place after reading the widely conflicting reviews here. The room was clean and spacious with a nice shower cubicle although the paper-thin walls can be a bit distracting as you can hear all the noise outside the room. Masseur was pleasant and did not negotiate for tips. His massage was competent but obviously a beginner as he lacked confidence with his touch. In fairness, this was indicated in the masseur description provided in their website. In summary, facilities are good and service was in line with similar places in Hong Kong. I would recommend to others.

The reception is cute and polite. He arranged room for me and then I ask him to arrange masseur. After shower the masseur come in - his named is Pat. His skill is quite good. After the 90 min massage . He left the room and waiting at the cashier I pay the bill and the tips to him. It is a good place for relax.

Saw the reviews and seems like the talk of the town. Came to visit after a long flight and upon arriving was greeted by a very charming fellow. Enviornment is very comfortable and the masseur was able to hit the right spots. This is the place to go for a fresher up.

Terrible experience.
Heard the place was new open so I choose to give it a try. Before I went here, I was hopeful that I will have a nice experience but it turned out opposite. Firstly, I was no doubt that the receptionist is cute but in bad manner. He showed me a long face since I asked few questions. As a consumer, I have definitely the right to ask and decide the plan which suits me. After I entered the room, a dirty slippery floor, bad shower system and extremely cold air-conditioning made me feel uncomfortable. How can I enjoy my spa massage? And I request a slim-fit masseur and they gave me a bear. I request to change another one and they declined. He lacked knowledge about how to massage. Afterwords he just massage me around 10 minutes and bothered me for the special services. And he also request me to pay 1000 HKD as his tips.
I will not come here anymore! I swear!

Great place
Walked in today and found them to be very busy. All new decor and definitely gave some effort to make it feel like the new generation. Luckily they had a room after a 15 min wait. The reception was very kind offer drinks and a chat. Rooms were very comfortable, probably cause of the new showers and new beds. Had a nice masseur named Cody who spoke good English and very sweet. Will definitely come again.

may visit twice if there is NO spa in HK
The place was ok. It looks simple but it could be cleaner. Some tissues were found in the room. I asked for a fit and handsome guy but it turned out opposite. Been asked for another guy but he was already the best, whatsoever, I was tired.
The masseur didn't know how to massage. He just rubbed my skin gently. And he quickly turned it into additional services, which bothered me. I asked him to massage more, then he showed me a long face. The masseur asked for huge tips for which he just did nothing. Generally it was a bad experience.
The receptionist could speak English fluently, which was great, but he kept talking about something not important, blah blah blah, all I want was to end the conversation asap.

Over exaggerated decorations and facilities. Dirty floor and bad shower system. A cleaning staff is needed. The masseurs are not handsome. One good points lol - the receptionist is nice and polite. The number of customers is little. But the price is not cheap. Not cost-effective.

Worth a vist
Heard the place was new so decided to give it a try. The place was completely new and had been in business for just less than a week. Decor was very nice and the staff were polite and professional. The reception spoke perfect English as he is Chinese, born in the States. The rooms were very comfortable with nice lighting designs and showers with all the massage water sprays. The young masseur I requested spoke good English. He was a bit new to massage skills but was very attentive. Price was reasonable. Definitely worth a try as one of the better spas in HK.
