The Interbelt Nite Club is a longtime staple of Akron’s gay scene, known for its drag performers and late-night dancefloor antics. For over 30 years, it served as a safe space for the local LGBTQ+ community and allies, hosting themed nights, DJ sets, and special events that made it one of the most popular gay clubs in Northeast Ohio. The club is especially known for its drag shows, featuring both local talent and national queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
