Sadly the lane is now closed for good, hotel next door has seen to that, as it was deemed not PC to have a gay sauna next door to an upmarket hotel. Pipeworks is all that is left and business appears to be booming there post lockdown. Which is something to cheer about.

Total dump. Toilets stink, as do some of the old guys that go there. Freezing cold, crap showers no hot water.

Had my first sauna experience recently. The Lane was the ideal place to come; staff were friendly and informative. Even visiting at lunchtime there were a nice bunch of older guys present who made it a very pleasant experience for me. Could anybody tell me if there is a specific day in which I could meet any TVs?

Good news visited the Lane sauna. Today 13th November met a lovely cross dresser Alana went back to her cabin best time I have had at the lane then later was pleasured in the blackout room with another male will be back next Wednesday, hopefully for the same treatment.

A hidden gem in a run down building tucked away in the corner of the city. My first thoughts were that this was a drab, slightly seedy place but I was wrong. I was made very welcome from the moment I stepped inside. All the guys there were very sociable, so much so that after half an hour I felt like a regular. It's true that the clientele were quite 'senior' but I didn't mind that as I'm somewhat 'senior' myself. I buddied up with two of the nicest guys ever and all my needs were very well taken care of! A 'no attitude' place which I will undoubtedly visit again (hoping it doesn't close in the interim)

Had my first visit today wow what a place plenty of action going on I left with a smile on my face.

Noticed the lane was open in July is it still open 29th August not been for a while but prefer it to pipeworks as it’s s older crowd with the occasional cross dresser.

hi, the lane is still open & thank goodness it is, it is a friendly & calm place where we can go & dress as you like, you meet regulars & the staff are great, dave is my favorite as i have been going for about 12 years, i think it could expand as the pipeworks is very "look at me" for most of us normal visitors, i like the fact that we at the lane are not all muscles & lovely but real people. cheers..xx

The club is ready for the closing..no way they will get a new licence.

I am a regular visitor to the lane, it's the ideal size, has a very high standard of cleanliness I've seen the staff go round the club regularly cleaning the communal areas, and showers. The staff are very friendly and always more than happy to make you a cuppa and always welcomed with a cheery hello. The customer base is a bit older but a lot of people prefer that and the other customers are nice. Highly recommended

Regular monthly user for the past 10 years. Always a good busy crowd over lunchtime and early afternoon. I sometimes dress fully shaved body, so always on the lookout for others to join me or even not dressing. Non-judgemental place with friendly staff and a good relaxed atmosphere. Would be nice to expand it into your other areas as you have the space for more playrooms.

Visited the lane today(13/11/18). A bit basic but great if you're into a more mature crowd or crossdresser. £12 for a locker or £14 for a cabin. Pay the extra £2 for a cabin if you can. Free condoms and lube. Friendly staff.

Like other comments on here, the last time I was in was early 2018 and was told that they might loose their licence, as they were going to court. Can anyone tell me who has been in here lately is it still opened and still under the same management
