A must to go for drinks
I was here last month. The great things are that the bartender is nice, good music really, great drink with reasonable price. You will miss this after leaving samui.

colorful gaybar
The mix bar is a small and cozy gaybar with art a pooltable and delicious cocktails. You can play your own music too. The people are nice and jay the bartender is a great guy with a wonderful service....a place you need to visit if you want to support the gay community in samui.

Very nice place
Each time I come in samui, I go only to the mix bar. I like a lot this place, sympathic, good music, price are good. A place with it own identity, not a clone of the other gay bar, straight friendly

Great Bar, Great Staff, Fun Atmosphere
Mix Bar is a great place with fun clientele and wonderful staff. The drinks are great, Jay makes sure everyone is taken care of, and I always have a great time when I visit. Each time I come I meet cool and fun people from around the world and have a good time. I definitely recommend visiting Mix Bar if you are visiting Samui. You will love it.

The best gay bar in Koh Samui!
Went to the mix bar several times during our stay in Koh Samui. A great atmosphere with friendly people, good drinks and a super manager. Would recommend this place to both gay and straight people going to Koh Samui. Absolutely loved it!

I absolutely love Gay Point Bar in Koh Samui
Coincidently, I was in Koh Samui at the first day Gay Point Bar opened!
I was extremelly welcomed by the owners (Jay and Dan) and the members of staff!!!
It is a great place to meet gay locals and gay tourists, who in my case, were also travelling alone!
i strongly recommend Gay Point Bar for every sort of people...great atmosphere!!!

Friendly, social and comfortable
I've visited this bar several times over the past couple years and can always count on a happy friendly owner and a comfortable, social place. Samui doesn't have a large lively gay scene, but this is a nice quiet place to meet other travelers.

Great little bar and friendly staff!
Visited Gay Point in April 2014 and was welcomed by Anuchit, a great host! Made us feel very welcome! Wasn't very busy at this time of year but we had good fun all the same :) Will be visiting again in April 2015!

Great Bar, Great People
I visited Gay Point over a number of nights whilst staying in Koh Samui as part of my backpacking travels. As a solo gay traveler I went knowing know one and have come away with great friends. Jay the owner and staff made me feel very welcome introducing me to other customers and locals a like. I never had a dull evening!! If your social enjoy a few drinks you cant go wrong with gay point. Thanks again and see you again next time I'm in Thailand for sure. Jack :)

Best gay bar on the island.
Nice hospitality. Incredible staff. Handsome and gentle owner. The best way to start your evening. Meet gentle people. Playing pool or several other games. Play your favorite songs via cell phone. Easy way to get in touch with local and farang people. Women are also welcome. Very nice atmosphere. I love it. I am looking forward to enjoy again.

De très bon moments passé dans ce bar, un personnel au petit soin et près à tout pour vous satisfaire. Des cocktails a se taper le cul par terre et une ambiance super sympa!!!! Je le conseil et le recommande!

Best gay bar in Koh Samui!!
My partner and I stayed in Koh Samui for 8 days and came across Gay Point Bar on the first night. Mr Jay always looked after us and became a good friend. We would stay at Gay Point most nights until the early hours drinking, dancing, laughing and playing pool. We also met fellow travelers there and were advised what else we had to check out on the island. Thank you for everything, low maak maak! Uncle Sam & Mr David xxx

Great Bar, Amazing Staff
Fantastic bar with great atmosphere and very friendly staff. A wonderful bar to meet locals and fellow travelers. Drinks are resonable and always flowing with great music and friendly conversation it's easy to pass the night away and loose track of time. Go visit and have a few drinks!

Very good friendly bar
I discover this bar while on my second visit and was very upset I didn't find this little on my first trip. Jay the owner is very friendly and the vibe of this bar (very laid back) make you feel comfortable like if you were at home. Very good value for money drinks. Goooo there guys!!

Fine place for pool & drink
Great place we found on our visiting in Samui, we always be there for play our pool game and Khun Jay. He very friendly and good friend i'm a real lady and I always ask my boyfriend to go have a drink and play a game of pool once we visit Samui. We hope to go there again again and again soon.

Friendliest Bar
Of the bars that I visited in Samui, this was by far the friendliest. The only drawback is its size, but Jay makes the most of it. I'm certain he would make a larger venue work just as well.
Definitely a place to visit if you are on Samui.

Greatest Friendliest Bar
I am teacher in Thailand this is my I have been to Koh Samui twice. One of the reasons I come back to Koh Samui is Gay Point. The bar is very down to earth and has good staff. Very unique portraits on the wall. The prices are reasonabe. Jay the bartender is the best. He makes me feel very welcome at the bar and consider one of my friends. I strongly recommened going to gay point bar. Every time I go there I meet new people and have a good time.

I like this place....
For me the best place to go for a drink and talking. Nice owner and nice staff not like in other bars. The owner give you tips about whole Thailand and is very friendly! Für mich der beste Platz in Samui...nicht nur für Gays....für ein Drink und informationen über Land und Leute.

A friendly place to spend a few evenings
We visited a few times during our holiday and found this to be a nice friendly casual, bar. The bar staff took the time to get to know us, ask about our trip, give recommendations, and even teach us some Thai phrases and writing. We left for another island for 5 nights and when we returned the bartender remembered us and immediately started making our drinks before we even ordered. It felt like we had been coming here for years.

Eine wirklich gute Adresse
Hallo, wir haben die kleine nette Bar im November 2013 besucht. Dort haben wir einige nette Leute aus der ganzen Welt kennengelernt. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne gibt er auch Auskunft wo man in Ko Samui abends ausgehen kann. EIne echte Hilfe.

We spent nice evenings in this small colorful gay bar. Cocktails and music are especially good. The barman is very kind, the waiters too.
We really appreciated their smile and their sense of welcome. The best place to start the night!

"A must" if you visit Koh Samui !!!!!
"A must" if you visit Koh Samui. If you are looking for a nice cozy bar with a family atmosphere like in your home town "around the corner" - then you are exactly right!
The ambiance is warm-hearted and sociable, cool drinks and cool music.
The staff literally read you every wish from your eyes before you've expressed it. Especially the manager Jay who represents the epitome of the "Land of Smiles" on one point: Paradise!! from me: 5 stars plus!!! :-)

Always visit when in Samui!
Been in Samui twice this year and always love this bar. Good place to meet people. Jay. the manager is really cool guy, very chatty and full of advice about the island if you need it. Very relaxed bar and they will play your music if you want. Definitely a must if you're on the Island. Lots of bars and clubs nearby, very mixed, gay and straight. Love love love it here!

Samui has few gay bars, and Gay Point maybe is the best top 2. US style, good drinks, lots of gays in Samui will come here - but not so many, because Samui is not the first choice destination for gays to go.

After quite the hectic day making my way over to the island from Phuket via bus and boat, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to stumble across the friendly staff at GayPoint bar. Nothing but smiles, great atmosphere and welcoming energy. I made it my duty to make sure to get back every night for a drink or two. I would definitely recommend it to all types of people - young, old single and partnered.

A very nice & colorful bar with good music, great cocktails with funny names like F*ckbottom, Lickmy*ss, etc. The pizza was great, so was the atmosphere. The manager Jay and the guys made sure that my boyfriend had I great time. We came back every evening. Thanks, Jay!
