Absolute invasion of privacy. Further the fine print reads they will "endeavour to do their best to delete your information after 30 days". There isnt one valid reason for ID's.

The last time I went to go to Wet my partner and I were refused entry on the basis of him being transgender. We had previously attended, after asking and being told it was fine. This time we were told no, we can't come in unless it was seniors night (my partner and I are in our 20s). Apparently there was a survey they were undertaking about whether or not to ban transgender people on the basis that "other patrons won't like the sight of their genitals". I'm not sure if this is new management or something, but it was pretty horrible.

I am a regular visitor to Wet on Wellington and I have never had any issues at all. The staff have always been friendly and the place is clean and hygienic unlike another venue in Abbotsford. The only issue is the odd time when the spa was not working and their was not hot water due to a plumbing issue, but I was informed at the time of entry so it was my decision whether to go in or not. I recommend WOW as a venue to visit in Melbourne

My husband and I visited this sauna for about 4 days in a row. The faculty is very friendly and although you have to show them your ID, it doesn't seem harmful. The pool is beautiful and the the area surrounding it has a nice little bar area and wonderful smoking area with an open air area. The sauna part is small but sufficient and there are many mazes, gloryholes and private rooms. It is a must see in Melbourne. Lots of hot men.

I enquired with the staff in person on 201117 and was informed that Wet limits the number of people on Swingers Night. A single male entry costs AU$350.

Well guess thats the end of going to Wet! watch the numbers drop off now you have to show ID. Whos dumb idea was that!! How can you trust where that info will end up.

This is the digital age. Nothing is ever deleted. Seriously, what is the point of giving up your ID at a venue to have anonymous fun? Come together and fight this! We are worth it.

I have been to this sauna many times over the years when I travel to Melbourne and have always found it reasonably pleasant, not to bad a value, fairly good facilities but sometimes lacking maintenance. Most of the staff have been friendly and helpful although some could try a little harder to be friendly. On my last visit the other day I was refused entry as I did not have any ID on me. Apparently now your ID must be scanned and your photo taken and stored. So since my passport was in my hotel I could not get in. Thinking about it now I most likely wont return as I am a bit apposed to handing over my passport to a bath house. So if you intend to visit this sauna don't forget your ID and put on your make up for your photo shoot LOL

Came here Easter Sunday 4pm- 8pm 2015. Caught the 86 tram and got off at the Peel st/ Smith st stop. The facilities were as clean as can be expected on a busy Sunday afternoon but the crowd were mostly older out of shape Caucasians. Perhaps try coming later. Had no trouble getting action though not really my crowd. I prefer subway

Cleanliness is number one for me. And WET is clean. Nice staff, that was really nice. I haven't been to the other places in Melbourne. Not as many Bears as I would have hoped for. I recommend this place.

Very good facilities which are clean and well-maintained. Friendly and helpful staff are welcoming and efficient. Have made several visits and they have all been pleasurable. Would not hesitate to go back.
