    Ball at wet

Went last night. Reasonably busy for the towel-free event. Went to the maze and found the most incredible person to play with. Hope I bump into them again. Makes the occasions I miss out well worth it. Good facilities and clean, great staff, but feel the glory holes could be higher and better designed. Over all great night though.

    Does the job nicely

Clean and well-maintained premises with friendly and obliging staff. The lime milkshake was a winner and the biscuits appeared deliciously homemade. The design is time-warp 1970s with swathes of black paint and house music in the background. Very nice sauna and the steam room does the job. Lacks imagination in the design department as do all Australian saunas. Very busy at 2.00pm on Sunday with loads of hot guys and lots of action. Recommended.

    Needs to be updated

This sauna is the only gay sauna in Brisbane, badly needs updating, no entry specials, quite expensive when you compare with Sydney and Melbourne which makes this sauna look very shabby indeed. With Brisbane population growing rapidly if someone with money decided to open an upmarket gay sauna this one would go broke in 5 minutes.

    good nite had

Visited early Jan, busy nite with lots of hot guys, not as much action as I wanted compared to the amount of guys there. Friendly staff, downstairs play area is well set up spa, pool, sauna, old porn tv. but upstairs needs to be updated, its a big boring space. Still had a good nite .will visit again.

    Not Bad At All

Visiting today, Monday the 13th January 2021 arrived after 2 pm, Staff was nice, there two of them manning the counter, good looking guys and friendly. What they need is pay increase and more smiling in their face. I do like pay increase, don't you hihi. I mean, if you said the staff is rude, I do not agree at all. Nice ambience and all facilities are working well. The maze area is where all the action started. Mixed visitors, local and foreigners, blue collar and white collar, all kind of ages and races. Huge sitting room for you to relax. To say it all, not bad at all. For those new to this area, get off at Bowen Hills train station, from Central Station BNE go to Platform 3 or Platform 4 (train ticket is AUS$4.90 one way). When you exit from Bowen Hills train station, please look for Hudd Street and a shop called I Heart Brownies and look for No 22, Jeays Street that is where WET Spa & Sauna located. Wish you all the best and happy "hunting".

    OK place. Terrible staff

We visited on a Friday afternoon and found it to be fairly busy. The guy at the door kept us waiting for 10 minutes without a word of an apology. I guess as this is now the only sauna in Brisbane they can treat their clients with such disdain. Also the buddy Friday doesn't exist any more. I hope they get some competition soon, so they buck up their ideas and treat people with respect.

If in Brisbane, worth checking out.

Definitely worth the price of entry - although, sometimes you need to remind the person letting you in, to charge for concessional entry, even when it's obvious you're younger than 25. That aside. It may be the only place in Brisbane to simultaneously enjoy the facilities: spa, sauna, cold pool and the steam room, and get a decent hookup afterwards. If you go in with the only expectation to sweat it out and leave it all hanging out, then whatever comes, comes, and you'll leave all the happier for it. I regularly go there, and the cleanliness is on point most of the time. Relaxed atmosphere, relatively cheap (compared to other health spas), and its got a good energy. Should the owners consider doing renovations to extend the maze area, to make Wet a good contender to the venues down in Sydney and Melbourne, I'd pay a higher sum for the price of entry. Only place in Brisbane to really go to, where you can get up to mischief on the premises, without feeling obliged that you have to justify your presence there - can easily spend the evening in the spa and sauna.

    Worst Sauna

People coming here because they have no choice as there are not many sauna in Brisbane. This sauna will be closed as soon as someone opens something better soon. Waiting for that day. The guys at the counter are so rude and ego. Worst Sauna and worst management.

    Nothing special

I’m a well travelled older guy and this was my first time at WET. Have used Bodyline previously over the past few years and sorry it has closed. I went to Wet 12:30 pm on Sunday 4 June and found a couple of dozen guys there, mostly 60+ age group. I like that everything is on one level but the place looks a bit dingy and run down. Staff check and clean cabins regularly. The place filled up gradually throughout the afternoon and was quite buzzy by the time I left at 4:30 pm. At $22 for a concession entry, I don’t think I’ll be rushing back. Pity there is such a lack of competition in Brisbane and Gold Coast. It’s really pathetic that this part of the country does not cater better to the gay community. Very disappointed.

    nice feel

Late Thursday evening there was a nice vibe. I had to wait for staff but chatted with friendly people also waiting. With handsome younger guys and older guys there was something for everyone. Will go again. (Dry sauna not hot enough)

    Busier

It seems like the sauna got more busier than before due to the closure of the other sauna, thus making this sauna the one and only option. But when the sauna is busier, it means that guys tend to have lots of attitude, more choosy and not much willing to play as they're hoping for Mr Perfect to arrive! Hence, lots of walking around, getting wet, getting dry, walking around again and again. If these guys are perfect then there's no need to walk around as others will make attempts to connect. The club was clean and staff was seen checking and cleaning/tidying up.

    Bad taste, run down museum

I came here Saturday night 10-12-2016 the place was extremely quiet. I found the facilities old in need of repair and very run down. Quite shabby and rather tardy. The decor is good for a laugh if you want a trip down memory lane back to days lost, when bad taste was in vogue. Don't waste your time or money. Extremely over priced for nothing on offer. And to top my visit off, quite frankly I was horrified after a cockroach ran over my foot in the toilet.

    Great place!

Brisbane is a very small city compared to Sydney, Melbourne & overseas cities. So a lack of patrons is based on a per capita reason. Busy days are Sunday from about 2pm till close. Tuesday is naked day, very busy. Weekdays around 12 to 2pm is a busy time then again later after 4pm. Friday & Saturday nights WET is open to approx. 1am. Brisbane compared to other cities is not a late night party town. Staff regularly go around doing cleans, but it has been noted the place is unclean, not so, in my experience always kept clean & if staff made aware of a problem between their cleaning schedule will attend to it quickly.

    Terrible Tasteless Tacky

You call that a maze? Its a loop. Thanks for the false advertising. The only thing to get lost here would be the old Mens teeth. The other guys here were aggressive and over all full of themselves with bad attitude. It was advertised it is always busy on a Sunday? Another total lie. It was also advertised it won an award? When? 30 Years ago? Probably around the same time any money was spent on maintenance or cleaning.

    still good!

Came here Sunday 27/12/15 12- 3pm expecting it to be quiet... But was I wrong... Still people coming in as I left. The facilities were as clean as I last came here. And the guys were generally on the young and good looking side for a sauna. Sunday after lunch is a safe bet for this place. Have fun!

    a favorite

I'm a regular of Wet Spa & Sauna for about 17 years now and for me a good night is either a busy night with action or a quiet night where I can enjoy the facilities after a hard day. Some nights are busy and some are quiet but I've found it rare that one night of the week will be the same the following week; that is, if it's a busy action filled night on a Monday, it probably won't be the same on the Monday next week. From experience, the busy and quiet nights are very random. So my tip is, if you're a regular, go different nights. If you're new to Wet and want it busy, Monday to Friday your chances are better when people finish work through to 8:30pm, Saturday till late, Sunday any time. Please be aware, the busier it is the less cleaner it will be because the staff member isn't there watching each person to immediately clean after them, and that in Winter the pool area is closed because the pool is not heated. It is a mixed crowd and all are welcome.

Nobody else here for 3 hours

I left after 3 hours as I was the only one there. The swimming pool was icy cold. And cold else where. A poor show for the middle of winter. I will never come back here. I had to go back to my hotel room to get a clean shower. Save your money.

    seriously! come here !

I think Paul got the wet and bodyline mixed up! Was here Sunday 3/5/15 11:40am - 130pm and with about 12 people, it was just starting to get busy as I left. More cramped then bodyline but definitely better looking guys. Diverse ethnicity and ages but consistently good looks and bod. Sunday afternoon is definitely the best time to come.
