Every Tuesday evening from 6 PM to 1 AM, KaBar restaurant transforms into ZischBar, a welcoming gay bar located at Kaserne Basel. With a cozy, relaxed vibe, it's perfect for enjoying drinks and socializing. The staff can whip up almost anything if you ask them to, but they also have a great beers and liquors menu.

In the summer, the outdoor terrace is a highlight, while in the winter, the warm indoor setting provides a great escape.

Part of the evening’s proceeds supports the local habs queer basel, a local LGBTQ+ association that works to support the queer community in the area.

Baragraph is a cozy gay bar tucked away off Barfüsserplatz in Basel. Known for its retro 70s-style decor and friendly service, it’s a great spot to unwind with a drink, whether you're there for an aperitif or a relaxed evening.

The atmosphere is laid-back, with colorful, bright interiors and a quiet setting. The bar offers reasonably priced drinks, and the bar staff can even whip up custom cocktails for you.

Bar Rouge is one of Basel’s top rooftop bars serving expertly crafted cocktails with a side of breathtaking panoramic views of the city.

Every last Wednesday of the month, Sudhaus Basel turns into Queerhaus Bar—a gay cocktail bar with live DJs and excellent drinks. Sudhaus also hosts other events catered to the gay community, particularly during Pride, including occasional drag brunches and LGBTQ+ discussions.

Singer Klub brings new energy to Basel’s nightlife, located right on the corner of the city’s market square. Known for its contemporary high-end clubbing experience, this spot offers a mix of quality music, a top-notch bar, and a relaxed yet lively atmosphere.

The club is also host to Gayties! a monthly LGBTQ+ party in Basel with live DJs, drinks and dancing. 

Heimat is a nightclub, bar, and restaurant that hosts LGBT nights on the 1st Saturday of every month. Although this is not an LGBT-only space, its fun vibes and great location to the center of Basel make for an awesome night.
