On Friday and Saturday, Legends gets busier a bit later than other bars in Brighton (around 11pm), though we prefer arriving earlier, as the bar service was super fast and finding a seat was easier.

Now re-opened. This famous gay bar & nightclub is one of the best in Brighton. The ground floor is a seafront bar & restaurant with a lovely outside terrace.

In the evening, Charles Street Tap becomes a busy bar with fun cabaret shows, live DJ and regular drink specials. Happy hour on Friday gives you half-priced drinks and it's always packed. A good place to begin your gay night out in Brighton.

Relatively small, traditional bar that offers a warm welcome to all. The Marine Tavern is particularly popular on a Saturday night when you just have to squeeze your way in.

Newly acquired by a gay couple, The Prestonville Arms is a gay-friendly pub in Brighton that welcomes everyone.

The owners hosted LGBTQ cabaret on Pride weekend, with acts including Claire Benjamin, Rock Hart, Danny Ash, FeliX Le Freak and headlined by Miss Hope Springs.

Closed on Mondays.

Cabaret bar & live entertainment venue in the heart of Brighton's gay village. It takes its name from the fact that it plays a selection of show tunes on a big screen each day. So if you fancy a late night singalong to a show tune or two, then this is the bar to head to in Brighton.

Buzzing nightclub that is one of Brighton's top gay late-night venues. The Basement Club is located below the Legends Bar. The club tends to get busy later in the evening from around 9pm.

Opened in 1991, Revenge is the most famous and popular gay and lesbian nightclub in Brighton and along the South Coast, hosting shows from the biggest stars from RuPaul's Drag Race as well as international pop stars and DJs.

Spread out over 3 floors, Club Revenge has a massive main room with state-of-the-art LED screens & lighting systems, themed VIP booths, a magic mirror photo booth and a claw grabber machine. The upper-level dancefloor is equipped with a breathtaking LED lighting array, Berlin-inspired decor, dancing cages and more VIP areas. To top things off, their amazing roof terrace has spectacular views over the city, the sea, and the Palace Pier.

Not an exclusively gay venue but The Green Door Store hosts a lot of gay events. And when we say gay events, we mean really gay events!

Expect Kate Bush discos, Madonna drag competitions and Cher-themed Halloween parties. Inevitably, their Bowie themed 80's disco attracts a big gay crowd, as does the drag-themed pop-curious.

Polyglamorous is one of Brighton's most popular queer dance parties - usually taking place once a month at Chalk. It attracts a younger crowd.

This multi-award winning event is colour themed and features drag queens, go-go dancers and DJs at a buzzing venue right by thr seafront.

Polyglamorous is an inclusive event and welcomes LGBTQ+ folk, friends and allies.
