Fire Island Leather Weekend 2025

Cherry Grove, Fire Island is where things get steamy this spring as Fire Island Leather Weekend returns from Friday, May 16 to Sunday, May 18, 2025. Hosted by Excelsior M.C., this annual leather celebration is one of New York City's most beloved queer events, raising funds for Fire Island’s LGBTQ+ non-profits while giving everyone a chance to kick off summer a little early.

Excelsior M.C.—New York’s leather brotherhood—leads the weekend with a full lineup of social events, parties, and fundraising fun. This isn’t just a casual getaway; it’s a full leather experience with the community front and center.

What’s on the Agenda

The $185 Full Run Pass includes access to all official events throughout the weekend, plus a few extras to keep things spicy:

• Welcome Cocktails – Friday night kick-off with hosted drinks

• Group Meals – Weekend meals included in the pass

• Night Events & Parties – Leather gear strongly encouraged

• Souvenirs – Bragging rights included

Attendees are responsible for their own ferry transportation to Cherry Grove and should plan ahead—boats fill up fast. Excelsior M.C. does not coordinate travel or lodging, so make sure your stay is sorted in advance.

Where to Stay

The host hotel this year is The Belvedere Guest House, but bookings are on you—Excelsior M.C. doesn’t manage accommodations and won’t be covering any change or cancellation fees. Plan wisely, pack the leather, and maybe bring a fan… it gets hot.
