    Poznan Pride, Poland

Poznań Pride 2025 will be an extraordinary celebration that will culminate with the 21st Equality March on June 21, 2025! As the second biggest LGBT+ event in Poland, this year introduces a full month of activities promoting tolerance and equality, replacing the traditional Pride Week.

    Embracing Change: A Month-Long Celebration

This year, Grupo Stonewall has expanded Poznań Pride into a month-long event. This change allows for a broader celebration of diversity and provides more opportunities for education and discussions on LGBTQ+ issues. The city of Poznań and Estrada Poznańska are financially and organizationally involved for the first time, marking a significant step forward.

    Event Highlights:

    • Opening of Poznań Pride Month - The festivities begin with various events across the city promoting tolerance and equality.
    • Equality March - The highlight of Poznań Pride, this march through the streets of Poznań has set attendance records year after year. Starting at 12 PM, participants will gather to celebrate and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

    Cultural Events and Artistic Expressions

Poznań Pride is not just about the march; it’s a rich cultural festival that includes:

    • Film Screenings - Organized with Tongariro, local studio cinemas will feature a series of films highlighting LGBTQ+ themes.
    • Theatrical Performances - Collaborations with Teatr Polski and Teatr Ósmego Dnia, along with guest performances from Berlin’s Maxim Gorki Theater, offer powerful narratives and performances.
    • Queer Art - Events supporting queer artists, including Queer Night and Vogue Ball, showcasing local and international talent.

    Historical Significance

Poznań Pride has grown significantly since its inception in 2015, becoming an inseparable element of the city's cultural landscape. It is supported by city authorities and has seen remarkable milestones, such as Mayor Jacek Jaśkowiak's participation in 2015, the display of rainbow flags in 2016, and record-breaking attendance.
