Vienna Pride 2025: parade, events & more

From May 31st to June 15th, 2025, Vienna Pride will take over the heart of Vienna, showcasing a diverse range of events that celebrate and promote LGBTQ+ rights. The highlight of this vibrant fortnight will be the Pride Parade on June 8th, expected to draw over 300,000 participants!

Additionally, the Pride Run Vienna on June 7th will see participants running and wheeling through the iconic Ringstrasse, culminating at the Pride Village on Rathausplatz. After a four-year hiatus, the Pride Village will once again be a focal point of celebration from June 6th to 8th.

Pride Village (June 12-14, 2025)

Situated at Rathausplatz, the Pride Village is a symbol of LGBTQ+ presence and pride in the heart of the city. For three days, it will be buzzing with activities, including information stands, live performances by LGBTQ+ artists, and exhibitions. Community organizations will join forces to engage visitors with lectures on critical topics, blending education, activism, and entertainment seamlessly. This communal space not only offers a variety of dining options but also a chance for everyone to partake in celebrating and supporting LGBTQ+ causes.

Pride Run Vienna (June 13, 2025)

Kicking off at 8:00 PM, Pride Run Vienna symbolizes acceptance and visibility for the LGBTQ+ community. Covering a route of 5 km along the scenic Ringstrasse, the run is open to individuals, pairs, and teams, including runners, Nordic walkers, and wheelchair users. It's more than a race; it's a collective gesture of solidarity and a celebration of diversity, encouraging participants to run for acceptance and set a powerful example of inclusivity.

Pride Parade (June 14, 2025)

The Vienna Pride Parade, also known as the Rainbow Parade, will take its 29th march down the Ringstrasse. This grand parade features individuals across all orientations and walks of life united in their march for acceptance, respect, and equal rights both locally and globally. As Austria's largest annual demonstration, the parade is a potent expression of the community's ongoing fight for equality, urging participants to display their banners, signs, and messages boldly.
