Fortaleza Gay Dance Clubs

You'll find Boate Level, a gay dance club, in Praia de Iracemam the most bohemian neighbourhood in the city. It's open from Friday to Sunday from 23:00. A range of resident DJs play a selection of pop, funk and house music.

It's fully air-conditioned - always a plus when you're in Brazil! You can pay by card too, so you don't have to walk around at night with a big wad of cash.

The club is laid out over three levels and it attracts a young crowd.

Located in the Dragão do Mar district of Fortaleza, Haus is an intimate gay dance club with a big heart. You'll find mainstays of the Brazilian gay scene such as Karol Konka and Banda Uó performing here.

There can be long queues so it's best to arrive a little early if you don't like waiting.

Astrologic is, as the name suggests, an astrology-themed gay club in Fortaleza. It's open from 7 pm on weekends.

This is a good place to dance all night at the weekend.

Lancelot is a gay club in Fortaleza located on Av. Almirante Barroso. It opens on Wednesdays as a straight club under the name "Complexo Armazém", and it opens as a gay club on Saturdays as "Lancelot." You'll see both names on the red sign outside the club.
