      Venice/Venice Beach

Venice is a buzzing district in LA. It has an artsy vibe and it's home to the well known Venice Beach. It's bordered by Santa Monica and Marina del Rey. If you're in LA you'll probably end up in Venice at some point. It's a rather cool area.

A long-standing kitschy gay bar in Venice. This delightful dive bar has served the area for over 40 years with drinks, pool tables, jukebox tunes and local artwork.

A rustic wood and brick décor punctuated by beer signs, cowboy paintings, and rotating exhibits of homoerotic art creates an atmosphere that’s welcoming and sexy.

A perfect match for the outgoing  patrons who stop in day and night to hang out at the bar or play darts and video games in the back. It has a famous old-school men’s bathroom ceiling with some none-too-subtle adult images.

Roosterfish lives up to its inclusive slogan: "We’re a neighbourhood gay bar, but Los Angeles is a very big neighbourhood."

There is a nice patio at the back. The excellent karaoke system comes complete with LCD projection and video monitors throughout. Come by and sing with some of the friendliest DJ's in Southern California.

Located a little off-the-beaten path and far outside WeHo’s party orbit, this longstanding Pasadena joint remains a favorite among locals, young and old.
