Le Marais is undoubtedly one of Europe’s most visually charming gay districts. With rows of shuttered windows and quaint balconies jutting out from bohemian lofts, the area is the center of elegant alternative living in beautiful Paris. However, it’s also where you’ll find a good portion of the city’s most hedonistically heady gay bars. That’s not to say that quality gay nightlife can’t be found throughout the entire city, as Paris boasts one of the best gay scenes in the Northern Hemisphere.

One of Paris' most popular gay bars. Le RAIDD is famous for its Shower Show every night at midnight when several hot, hunky male dancers get wet & wild in a huge aquarium-like tank embedded in the wall. It can get quite thirsty!
And if that's not enough eye candy, then feast your eyes on the gorgeous bar staff. This bar is located in the center of Le Marais. It's a good place to start or end your gay night out in Paris.

The terrace is a great place for people-watching (it's often freakishly hot). COX is probably the best bar to visit first on a night out. Happy hour continues until 10 p.m. every night.
